This is the Curry that's acceptable because he filled up the box scores and the team was always in the game. The Double Double Curry is what propels this team not just the offensive Curry.

I'm glad Eddy took what I said to heart. What an outstanding game from him tonight and it's starting to look like he might be able to do what he's doing consistently. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I want nothing more than for Eddy Curry to shut me up and be the exact opposite of what I think he is. If he finally realizes he can be a dominant force then he might just keep this up. I hope he does because it'll be absolutely HUGE for this franchise.

Now if we can get a shooter, and a pure pg who knows who to consistantly get him the ball and get the hole, we'll have somehting here.

Yes 27-12 with a dominant low post game is acceptable to seats blue. 100-50 would be considered good, lol. :)
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

LOL, Forreal. The only way the thread would have been worst if Elite made it. I need to see this thread from somebody like SugRay.......... he would have made a more honest assesment of the game and Curry.....

one of my xmas gifts could be isiah getting fired, b/c then francis could be dealt, marbury waived, and we could get those 2 things you listed.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Very happy with Curry's 27 points and his 12 rebounds tonight - especially the rebounds because there weren't too many that just bounced to him. He was out there fighting for the majority of the ones he pulled down.

However, I still thought Curry was pretty bad tonight. He doesn't play any defense whatsoever. On the man he's supposed to be covering or in the lane. I didn't watch him contest, alter or block a single shot. (Well, he did, but to a ridiculous small amount of them.) It's not his post, it's whoever decides to drive on that possession's post. The Raptors drove in at will and were just fouled every time. For all the points he scores, he more than makes up for them with his terrible defense.

He's crazy slow, often looks confused and makes stupid mistakes. I happened to notice Q and Francis yelling at him on separate occasions.

Wish he would get himself into shape and learn how to play some defense.

I agree with your post 100% myth. Curry's offense is great, everything else is seriously questionable.

Give Curry a break. He's young and his game is evolving. Eventually, the holes in his game will fill with experience. Let's rejoice that at least on offense, he's beginning to show more polish and confidence than ever before as a Knick... and he's been avoiding foul trouble for the most part-- due in large part that he's not being given any tough defensive assignments.

Watching him take over in the 4th was a sight to behold - Curry's got great, great hands. Ewing was never capable of catching alley oops from all distances and angles.

As Curry establishes the inside game, it'll open things up for the slashers and spot-up shooters. We're already beginning to see the team shape itself. Ever since Ewing was traded, the best inside presence on offense we've had was with LJ, Houston, and Sprewell posting up. It's great to have a legit big man doing it.

Ughhh, I don't have the time. "Curry won't be liked until it's fashionable, until then he's terrible nomatter what happens", equals my new theory. No fighting this losing battle........................

Ok last one, I can't help it, the man was guarding 6'9 plus small forwards 15ft away from the bucket 80- percent of the game.................How much lane help was he even in position for???? LOL. It's like ok a layup happens on TV and it turns into"NEVER". He never helps, or he never rebounds, He never showed on the pick............ is the though of last years pick that important????

He's improving. I agree. Give the guy credit for what he's doing. He still needs to get better defensively. But if he can score like this and rebound like this, maybe he can learn to play defense too.

are teams doubling Eddy or are they just letting him get his 1 -on-1 and staying at home on everyone else figuring he may score but he won't beat us?

I don't think Shaq could ahve played defense against the raptors with their outside shooting centers. Thats clearly a mismatch because the raptor centers are more like sfs.

As Clyde and Kenny said contesting shots is just as important as blocking shots. Curry by the way had a big time block out of nowhere on Bosh after Bosh burned by David Lee in the 4th qtr
