Wondering who you everybody thinks would be the ideal Power Forward to put next to Eddy Curry?

My Pick would be:

Marcus Camby(He is a Power Forward)

Tyson Chandler! He was/is the ideal pf to play next to Curry. He's a tremendous rebounder, good help defender, good shot blocker, can guard Centers and Pf's and doesn't need the ball to impact the game.

Heh. Tim Duncan. No doubt. Kevin Garnett's the 2nd choice. Dwight Howard's my 3rd... though I wouldn't mind Dirk Nowitzki either. :)

Id like to see someone like Al Horford play next to Eddy.

a shooting guard who can hit from the outside would be perfect also. someone like Marco Belinelli would be interesting.

Udonis Haslem IMO.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Chris Bosh -- HAHA!!!

Actually the Raptors are going to keep him for life -- and it makes sense. Is it just me or is Bosh the perfect player for the Raptors? I mean, the dude actually looks like a Raptor. Don't believe me? Check out this scientific evidence:

It's kind of stupid to say all time talents, because they are good enough to make guys like Eddie Griffin or Doip look like good players. Who of Garnett, Duncan, Howard, Dirk, Brand, Amare, Pau, okafor, JONeil, Ben wallace, and Bosh would not help Curry??? THey are they the best Big men in the league, top 25 players and SuperStars/Franchise players. The only bigs that are Franchise players and wouldn't help Curry are Yao and Shaq, because they would put him on the bench.

I believe a list is in order and it should be of players we could get. Here you go:
Players it would take alot to get in order
1Marcus Camby
2Lamar Odom
3Brad Miller
4Carlos Boozer
5Zach Randolph
6Mehmet Okur
7Chris Wilcox

Average guys that would be good to have and would cost little to get......
1PJ Brown
2Drew Gooden
3Kurt Thomas
4Kenny thomas
6Darko Milicic
*These guys can defend, Rebound and hit jump shots. I would take them first. The rest are incomplete and no better then David Lee*

Jamaal Magloire
Chirs Webber
Kendrick Perkins
Anderson Varejao
Antonio McDyess
Nazr Mohammed
Jeff Froster
Zaza Pachulia
Melvin Ely
Antoine Walker
Udonis Haslem
Tony Battie
Stromile Swift
Tyson Chandler
Troy Murphy
Joe Smith

I don't think we could get Hilton armstrong and I wouldn't want Ronnie Turriaf. I think the team has a one medical emergency player per year.........PJ Brown,Drew Gooden,Kurt Thomas,Kenny thomas,Darko Milicic and David Lee are all much better players any way.

Its funny that nobody thinks it's Frye.

Why? As his absence has demonstrated, his skillset doesn't compliment Curry's, which as dj and others have pointed out is a large reason for Curry's emergence, not the reason you gave on another thread.

Why? Because it's just another gross example of how poorly constructed this team is. I'm the one that has been saying for months that this team was made up of uncomplementary players.

That's hardly a revelation.

It's a consequence of working for an owner who hires a GM to preside over a team that is burdened by both a talent deficit and cap inflexibility, and then tells the GM that he can't rebuild, but instead must make the playoffs that year.

Being reasonable, just think of the type of big men that Shaq's had success playing with--- the Ho Grant, Udonis Haslem, Robert Horry, Rodman!

Really, we're talking about 3 types of players--- the flat out banger-enforcer (Haslem/Rodman), the rangey defender jump-shooter (Horry), or a bit of both (Grant). Horace Grant was big enough and athletic enough to defend the tough assignments so that Shaq didn't have to... he was also a good enough rebounder and fundamental player to either grab the boards himself or box out the other team's top guys so Shaq could grab the boards himself.

We may already have our parter for Curry--I think David Lee can emerge as a Haslem-type--- though in his few games as a starter, we're kind of seeing what it's like w/ him defending the tougher assignments. Much like w/ Frye, he seems kind of overmatched, at least right now.

Lee's game works very well as a complimentary player for either Curry or Frye. Curry has looked utterly unstoppable on offense for stretches since Frye's injury. Perhaps now that Curry is establishing his game and is communicating to the world that he wants the ball every time down, that'll help Frye understand his role better and calmly pick his spots.

It's been no help to either of them that both of them are being asked to be superstars by the fans. One thing we've seen this season is that Frye is trying to do too much every time he touches the ball, so much that he's been out of sync. Curry was out of sync too.

As a 3-man big-man rotation, I think Curry/Frye/Lee are pretty formidable. I think we need a 2nd Lee-type--- though we technically already have that in Malik Rose-- the only issue is that he's a tad short. We also have Balkman, who with his athleticism and "nose" for the ball, draws some comparisons to Rodman...
