1. Rip Hamilton--this guy is a killer, a person who goes unnoticed but simply is a big time player who does not get the respect that he is due.

Marcus Camby - If not for injuries, he's got HOF stats. How is it he's never made an all-star team when he's had stats above 14 pts and 14 rpg at the all-star break before?

I would have chose Rip as well Briggs but since you chose him, I'll go in another direction.

Manu Ginobili. Yeah he plays with Mr. Duncan so things are made a bit easier for him but the guy is a good 3point shooter, he takes good shots and he's a good defensive player. I don't think he's made an all-star team but he might be one of the best #3 options on a team in the last 20 years.

cant say guys making $10mm or max money are underrated. Everyone in the league knows how great Marion and Rip are. Rip's won titles and probably has the best midrange game in the league.
I would have to say Sam Cassell and Raja Bell are two guys that fly under the radar. All Sam does is get teammates to play better. He certainly like to shoot but he's big shot shooter and a bigtime finisher. He's also been paid around MLE type numbers most of his career. All he does is win.
As for Raja he's the uber unselfish guy. Came into the league as a defender (still a great defender) and does whatever the team needs to win. Really a perfect fit in Pho as he runs like a dear and brings hard nosed defense on the perimeter, making it easier for Pho to go small with guys like Marion and Diaw gaurding 4's and 5's.

Don't forget. He's got the good looks too...

Luke Ridenour or Marbury....Dont laugh at Marbury. How many guys are good enough to have their own shoe but are considered "losers"?
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Joe Johnson or Carlos Boozer

Because I said so.

The question wasn't who's the most underrated player in relation to their salary.

Joe Johnson is a good pick. His game is nice. Underrated because when he got max money no one thought he deserved it, and while he's proving he does deserve it nowadays no one notices as he toils in the ATL. Good thing Boston traded him for Rodney Rogers and Tony Delk.

I'll throw in two cents for our own DLEE. Seriously. Definitely flying under the radar right now given his production so far. Though maybe not for long, witness Bill Simmons telling this to the whole nation:

"Now that Ben Wallace is ramming his back into a fork at warp speed, Lee is the third-best rebounder alive behind Dwight Howard and KG. There hasn't been a white guy who rebounded like this since Dave Cowens. Seriously. You can look it up."

salary has to be taken into account - that goes without saying.
