The rotations stink. Players that perform at a high level are having their minutes shortened while the same group of underachievers is run out there night in and night out.

Franbury has NOT worked and towelboy is confused and ready to quit on (another) coach.

Curry Frye has NOT worked. A couple of flashes aside Frye has not been comfortable or really able to contribute in his current role. Since Isiah knows Curry is utterly useless on defense and on the boards his solution to get something out of Curry is constantly force feed him the ball while everyone stands around.

The "quick" offense looked good in one preseason game against the Kiddless Nets. That than that its pretty much a joke.

The players seem to have lost their joy.

Someone care to shed some light on this for me?

Is it all just a stop gap until we get Lebron/Kobe/KG/Jermaine ?

I think we just need to give Larry time. After all, he is a hall of fame coach. If anyone can find away to bring the Knicks back to respectability, it's Larry.

Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich and Chris Duhon

How can these three have outplayed Starbury, Stevie Franchise, and the OMB [One Man Band] Jamal Crawford?

Is the answer simply the fact that Skiles does a better job than Isiah or that the Bulls guards are simply more coachable?

Speaking of Crawford.

This guy clearly has the talent to become a Rip Hamilton Clone. When he doesn't have to dribble and think at the same time he's less of a threat to his team.

Why not run this guy off screens and just have him catch and shoot all day from midrange?

IMHO, Craw was on his way last year to doing so.

Only a HOF coach would see that in crawfish and coach him accordingly.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

That's 2 rays of light in this season and counting.

1: David Lee
2. Hope to salvage Crawford's basketball IQ. I think LB would have been perfect had he not lost the team's attention X games into last season.

Despite Zeke's shortcomings as a GM I do recall Daly saying he was an awesomely intelligent PG....

I think IT the coach has done a decent but not great job. He cannot control the turnovers that Marbury, Crawford, and Francise seem determined to make at the exact wrong moments. He can't make Curry go get rebounds or play better defense. I do think that we could run more pick and rolls/pops and agree that Crawford might be more effective running off screens as opposed to all the ISOs, but I don't think IT the coach is the reason we are losing. I have been a Marbury supporter in the past, but he is showing me absolutely no leadership right now and I think our losses really fall on the shoulders of our lack of quality guard play.

Trust the Process

whats decent about the job that he's done? If he cant control Marbury's turnovers and Curry's lack of everything you cant give him credit for Lee's hustle or Q's scoring either. So whats Isiah done that's decent?

Isiah controls:
set plays
practices
rotations/subsitutions
timouts/game managment
matchups

So where's the "decent" ???

Your seeing something I'm not... what is it?

Isiah was responsible for the Celtic win.

If we are quick to give LB credit for Craw's development last yr, Isiah should get credit for Q's ressurgance.

David Lee is getting more minutes than lst yr and is playing better.

Francis is also playing better.

I think the guards are killing us more than anything.

He's given the young guys many more minutes than Brown did. That's the only positive I can think of. And he still (at least until yesterday) didn't give them enough min. I think about half the players on the team (through his own fault) will make most coaches look bad.

why? Q was hurt, now he is not hurt and is playing like he has in the past. Craw has only changed his ways when LB was here reminding him. He has regressed.

I have no argument either way towards the point you are making Joe, but I don't think we can compare the player's minutes from all of last year to less than 1/4 of the season this year. Remember, Lee had many DNP's early last season.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Has Q regressed or are people just overemphasizing one brief stretch from last season? In every statistical category, his performance this year is either equal or superior to last year's.
