Trautwig just said it on the post-game show.

On the bright side, Lee will likely start, which he rightly deserves.

well, at least there's room for Jefferies now.

I guess DLee is the de facto starter. And Balkman should play more, actually this could be a VERY good thing. my guess is Frye never starts again.

Actually, I bet we play very good. We won't suffer those dry starts either. Lee is a nice fit next to Curry. I bet Curry's numbers will go up-scoring anyway-and and we'll play close to but not quite up to .500 ball.

That's a big window. If they haven't MRI'd him yet, it's probably a guess.

hopefully Frye loses a few pounds while he's out... the added weight hasn't helped his game at all
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Well, I don't see this as a *good* thing, but at least it will tell us a bit more about the team. (e.g. how well the Lee-Curry lineup looks to start games vs. the Frye-Curry; Blockman getting a chance to strut his stuff on a regular basis)

for better or worse, the loss of a shooter gives marbury a chance to pick up the slack.

When is jeffries coming back?
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Built-In Excuse #20990877 for this team.

I agree with other posters, Lee finally gets the chance to start; something he's earned with his solid play.

We all got the same conclusion but tell me something. What are the chances, Isiah is gonna start Malik at the 4 because he won't want to mess up the B team's chemistry?

It's a valid question.

It's very true and you bring up a good question Joe, I'm actually pretty torn about this to be honest with you. While Lee deserves to start because I think he's been the best player on this team thus far, taking him out of the B rotation will severely hurt this team. It's a tough decision for Isiah.

If it were up to me, I think I'd experiment with Lee starting and see if that has any sort of affect on the starting rotation, if not, wait until Jeffries comes back and then insert Lee as a starter because I think Jeffries can fill Lee's role with the B-squad.

This is where this team shows it's built ass backwards. Seriously. In normal circumstances, you want the starters to build the lead and the second team to hold it. By doing what the Knicks do, you go down and all the 2nd team is doing is trying to come back. You are never gonna get a lead doing it the way the Knicks do.

I'll say right now if Isiah started the second team then brought the starters off the bench, this team would be a little under .500. And this is with it in my mind that the second teamers are finding it the norm to play against the other team's first stringer's and they still are gaining points.

I agree, but I bet Isiah is gonna get tentative about breaking up that second team after what happened with Francis/Craw.

Not saying I don't agree with you, I do. Start Lee. Just looking at it from a different angle.
