It has been scientifically proven that the people solely responsible for the loosing this year, are, ready, set, fire, the FANS!!!

We are an incredible 4-4 on the road, having beaten such powerhouses as the Grizzlies w/out Gasol, but for some reason we keep loosing at home.

The only plausible explanation is the fans. They must behind the poor play.

Marbury has been quoted saying that every time he is about do something good, he hears a boo, and he just looses the will to go on.

The real injuries of Frye and Richardson have been revealed, and the extent of the damage is truly horrifying, both of them have suffered a complete dislocation of the belief in themselves, and have been prohibited by doctors from playing inside MSG. All due to fans booing.

Eddie Curry has checked himself in into a rehab center in the minutes following the game, after breaking down and admitting to having an eating disorder, by which as he puts, "I tired to replace the love of the fans with burgers and milk shakes".

IT has demanded that the games be played behind closes doors, and even better, not even televised or otherwise disseminated without the written permission of himself.

Knick fans should be ashamed of themselves for thinking this were grown men our there on the court, and they need to realize that the team as currently constructed is made up of little girls whose feelings are easily hurt. One boo at the wrong moment can traumatize a young Nate for life.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I don't know. When the Knicks were playing hard today, the fans were cheering loudly.

To get IT fired of course. If you saw the South Park 9/11 conspiracy episode, "what are you retarded"?

Oh, and by the way, I'm not really calling you retarded. I'm just brining up a funny South Park episode. I think I'm safe now, but who knows.

it's been that way for as long as i can remember... whenever the Knicks don't show a full effort on the floor, the Garden fans will let u know about it... even the teams w/Ewing, LJ, etc. had to deal w/that... only weak minded losers can't deal w/booing when they know it's all about THEIR play on the floor, not any malicious intent on the part of the NY fans.

there wasn't a full effort tonight? shouldn't the fans have been on their feet the entire second half, cheering wildly?

when the Knicks made their run they were pretty loud to me... after that the Bulls pulled away again... you can't expect the fans to stay loud when you can't make defensive stops when it counts most... giving up costly turnovers in crunchtime doesn't help matters.

the way the fans behaved, you'd think there wasn't a crunch time at all.

Crzy, the fans were extremely loud in that 4th quarter during the comeback.

i love it... now that all other excuses have been done away with, the only thing left to blame is the fans.

Trade the MSG fans.
How about trading NY fans? They're the worst in all sports on their players.

If the fans were smart, they would cheer these guys because its always best to smile and gloss over a bad situation.

You've said this before, and I couldn't disagree more. I do think Mets fans are unnecessarily harsh towards their own players. But otherwise, I see it as pretty fair, across the board. Put out a good effort and you get credit. Play like garbage and like you're only playing because you have to and you don't. They get booed when they're playing gutless. That happens in other cities too, it's just that if you have NBDL players for starters, the fans have lower expectations, thus a higher threshhold.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

NY would be the last place I would ever want to play. I dont know what can be done but the some not all of the fans are led by the media in to being total temper tantrum throwing idiots. Name a big time NY player who the NY media hasnt ever been critical of.
Jeter. No
Arod. No
Reggie. No
Mattingly. No
Winfield. No
Patrick. No
Houston. No
Messier. No
Esposito. No
Leetch. No
Tiki. No
Strahan. No
Simms. No

It doesnt matter who you are the NY Media will be critical of you and the fans are led by the nose by the lame media. Somehow teh media and the fans are convinced that somehow they are smarter than the coachs and they would try harder than the players. 50 pound overweight guys eating french fries will complain about effort...like they would try harder. Geeks in brooks brother suits that were called last in dodge ball are fantasy stat stars and some how think they know more than the coachs and would play better than the players.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

You can be the league MVP in baseball and get booed. I remember they booed Giambi one week into his FIRST season on the team because of a 3 or 4 game slow start. He went on to hit 40 HR and .300 but he simply had an imperfect start to the season. They even booed Ewing. They're the worst fans unless you're perfect.

I know there are good fans but I have seen this in all NY sports not just the Knicks. The fans here as a group are some of the worst around and I do believe they are led by the media. There are some good fans as well that get thrown under the bus. This isnt just a Knicks issue. this is all NY teams. Its ridculous when guys like Arod, Patrick, Clyde, etc get booed. You have no idea how much the players in NY often hate the fans. Ive been reading a book from years ago from behind the scenes and many NY players hate the fans. In fact a fan favorite of the NY Rangers named Ron Greshner wanted to give the fans the finger knowing he would be traded.
