Eddy Curry cost us 2 #1 picks and zeke doesn't have a clue on this roster.

He's obviously panicking knowing the sword is being sharpen as we speak.

Can we still say this team is da bomb ?

Isiah talks so much sugar , but even his staunches supporters are starting to scratch when they don't itch.

LB thought of our future and wanted to back the truck up and clean house to change the culture of the knicks prestigious franchise's History.

Zeke said no and the mess we now see is our future.

When Kenny Smith comes to the knicks as gm, that's when we will see ther knicks restored .

Money has never been a factor to James Dolan since Isiah has come aboard.

We need a culture change in NYC ASAP!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Lee, Nate, Craw, Q, Frye, Balkman, ummmm....Curry....We have 7 young guys on our squad (ill just count Curry and Collins as 1 combined) who are going to be solid players. Does that mean nothing?

I get the same impression, Kenny Smith as the next GM? Why not Allan Houston? Why not Don Mattingly? Why not Me? Why would you (playa) pick some random dude to be our GM when he obviously knows less about the team then anybody on this site?

Nooooo. We need a GM and a replacement for Mills with proven track records, not an ex-player learning on the fly.

3 years 500mm spent yes there are some players on the team that can help in roles--BUT the major league moves[and many others] have been busts which also hurt the team in terms of it's ability to improve in the future. this isnt an easy job to fix. there are many people with BIG TIME paying$ jobs in Dolan's ear and they ALL want to keep those paychecks coming in full blast. I do not think Dolan understands basketball enough--he doesnt know the industry enough to make decsisions and the decisions being made are by the guys he needs to remove. on the top of the list is a dirty little word called ego and dolan probably has the biggest one of all. he probably cares more about proving people wrong than any other agenda. this is is what the very rich do--they have all the money in the world so they need a different avenue to get their attention.

right now we have a championship bench with nice parts, and perhaps one starter in david lee, put for the amount of money that has been spent here its laughably, if bynum was taking perhaps i would be more patient because that guy is going to be awesome and we could have struggled and gotten another player like thomas or a guard like roye and began to build something other than a deep bench.....

Not a starter, Nate, Balkman, Frye, Collins, Crawford

If I had Bynum or a player like that Id exude patience-- the problem is WE DONT have a franchise player[or potential one at a minimum] and everyone knows it.

No need to nitpick, Craw and Q are what 25 each? Are they old? My point is that this team does have a youth movement, and therefor a future. Are you denying that?

If having some good young players is a pre-requirement for success than I guess 25 other teams are going down the right road as well. Its HARD to name a team that doesnt have promising youth--but I do know this we do NOT have a franchise player in there--and thats what counts in this league.

I totally agree.

Great post. This should be up on the front page. It's what has been said many times on this board, and that people don't seem to get. Baseball is a team sport. You can win a championship in baseball without having a top 10 star. Why? Because baseball is all about having the most depth and balance. Basketball is not. A franchise player (particularly a big man), another guy who can score, and some role players who don't choke in clutch... and you can win a championship. Without these elements, it's almost impossible. We don't have them. We're starting a scary trend of heading towards no-man's land. I can totally see this team in 3 years, being a proverbial first-round exit playoff team, too good to get a good pick, not good enough to make it to the next level. Is that what everyone wants?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

What experience Gm is foolish enough to come to the knicks ?

It's gonna have to be somebody new that's hungry and loves the game and preferably who played before and understands the business. How about Greg Anthony ? It has to be smeone from NY who wants to instill the pride back into the franchise. GRUNFELD should have never been fired !

Good announcers don't always make good GMs.

Is greg from NYC? OR just play here a few years.

We need some young Layden type dude but is not introverted and can command a presence.

Most important we need an owner who can be patient.

If we could have had our picks we would have been just fine!

We need a GM and coach that have won before so that they can show the players that have never won before how to win. At some point we have to realize that getting winners is important. Our guys are struggling because they are trying to learn how to win. They really don't know how. And when we get a coach/GM that knows how to win we need to humble ourselves and do whatever they say. It will look weird to us because we don't remember what winning is, but we must follow their methods. We must change the culture here. No more following of people that have never won. We fans keep beating ourselves over the head trying to figure out why we don't win. We keep saying patience, patience. Unfortunately the answer to fixing our problems is obvious we just don't see it. 23 wins last year wasn't enough to see it. We must wait more I guess.

We need to find winners.
I just hope that people will like me
