I am ambivalent about this because I have Yao on both my fantasy league team...but here goes.

Nobody can stop Yao these days. He is truly a franchise-caliber player, and if he keeps improving as he has, he will be a great.

All that to say: Ain't nobody stoppin' him.

But we need to at least slow him down a little, make him think a little. Curry can't do that. He can't guard this Perkins kid for chrissake!

If James is started maybe Yao will eat him alive. But I am confident that James will at least challenge him. I don't care if James fouls out in the first quarter!

We don't need Curry's offense in the starting lineup against this team, and anyway, Yao has made Curry eat the damn ball so many times, I am not confident that Curry will bring any offense.

So let's start James. What's the worst that could happen? Yao gets 37/17 and 7 blocks?

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Didn't fans complain about the starting lineups chaning so much last yr? Shouldn't teams be matching up to the Knicks since there's all this abundane of talent on this team?

Sorry, can't change starting lineups. As few as possible is the rule.

Actually the complaint was all the starting lineup changes with no apparent rhyme or reason. I guess it's tough for you to see the difference.

Is tonight's game over before it even begins? You know, because the Knicks don't have a franchise caliber player like Yao or even McGrady.

Should they just cancel the game and give the win to the Rockets?

So you really don't have anything to say do you? It is too bad that your only goal is to irritate me. I must make you feel pretty inferior.

Get back to me when you have a basketball opinion.

dont be such a drama queen. Isiah *wont* make a SL change because of the above reasons mentioned by the "fellas"

However if it was me I *would* start Frye over him and Lee or even Malik at PF.

Reasons?
Frye is center (I may have mentioned that once before).
Yao is too big for Frye to lose.
Your better off fronting him than staying between him and the basket. Unfortunatly our guards need to lock up penetrators or its layup time, but guarding Yao will give Frye a simple (albeit difficult) task to focus on.
Frye is a center and his quick post game and midrange game should allow him to attack Yao in several ways on the other end.
Frye is a center.

No... the Knicks should definatly go give it a try, but if they are down 6 with 2 minutes to go they should just leave the court since the game is no longer winnable.

Lol someone a little touchy today?

Isiah wont take Curry out the starting line up because he is trying to develop Curry, for better or worse. James will probably get plenty of burn guarding Yao tho, so its really not too much of an issue. But make no mistake of it, barring an injury Curry will never be coming of the bench to begin a game.

Wait, that was only if they had a player like McGrady, which they do. If you add Yao, who is an obvious franchise caliber player, I think the Knicks should walk off the court if they're up 6 going into the 4th quarter. Because obviously they would have "shot their load" just to get to that point. The Rockets would roll from there.

You tell me, since you have been trying to start with me all weekend. However, even though it is obvious you are trying to pick a fight with me, I won't indulge you. I am too busy for the pettiness, and I hope you will rethink your attitude as well.

Very interesting that there are maybe 2 posts that deal with the subject at hand and all the rest are attempts to needle me. How are you UK mafia? Does anybody want to talk about what I wrote, or maybe you all should just start a thread about how much I get to you, and you all can post away? I think you should because I don't have time for your childishness at this moment.

Trying to chase me away like you did Bonn huh? Hey Martin, is this kind of behavior acceptable? Is it encouraged?
