but the board doesn't appear to be any busier tonight after a bad loss than it was last night after a big win.

If anything its quieter.

The forums are always quieter after after a loss. Anyone who says otherwise is flat out wrong.

It was a bad loss. You have to beat Boston at home and get closer to .500.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I really hope that's some kind of self deprecating joke. Otherwise I'm really at a loss for words.

Yeah, I tend to believe that.

I agree. I did not like some of IT's moves tonight. I think he may have fallen in love with Balkman too quickly, Frye should have started the second half and he certainly should have gotten more minutes.

But I don't think they loss because of coaching. They missed important free throws and they made bonehead plays and other mental mistakes.

I have to give the Celtics credit too. They just played well on offense. Nobody could stop Pierce and Wally. Anybody who thinks that Wally is not a better player than Ricky Davis should check out what Davis is doing this season.

everyone knows there is less traffic after a win than a loss, however, everyone also knows to steer clear after a loss because the traffic is all negative, rude and attacking.

Let's go Knicks. That's amare

Martin, as long as we hare having these meta-discussions today, can you guys please clarify what you mean when you say the forum is quieter? Does that mean fewer visitors, or fewer posts? (or both?)

after a win there is without a doubt more users and more hits on our site, not even close. does this hold true every time? I don't think so, but we are talking about 8 out of 10 times.

My guess is that more threads are created after a loss, people want to bitch and moan, and that's seems pretty close to human nature to me.

Saturday nite!

Why bitch and moan about a game perhaps not seen?

Get out and enjoy life, if your not at the game, staying home on a Sat nite to watch the knicks should not be a first priority.

Didn't really see this thread till just now. You can assume that i'm always around. I posted in the game thread so don't try and make it seem like I stay away after losses. If you remember I'm ALWAYS behind this team and I have a positive outlook for the season so one game doesn't faze me. i thought it was a bad loss, but I had fear of this game due to the fact that Boston always gives us trouble. I can't wait to get Jared back to see if he can help us out with Pierce. He's the real reason we just seem to have trouble with the Celtics. That and the fact that we had to fly back from Miami and Boston was close by having played at home. I just had feeling that we might be off our game a bit and that turned out to be true. Still I like the way the team is playing overall.

We have to get back on the ball against Houston. I really don't like all these home losses. We have to get past this lack of focus at home.

Its just a slow day. Sunday is always slow. Plus things are kinda stagnant right now.

The knicks beat 2 good teams by large margins and then lose a hard one by 2. Its rough.

Who wants to even think about the Knicks on a weekend, on a season that they're sucking, when you can go out and have fun.
