I should probably apologize for starting a thread on this, but since the beginning of the season I've thought that if we could beat the team in the standings that would benefit from our having a worse season it would be a moral victory for the Knicks. If the season ended right now, the Knicks would get the 8th playoff spot and the Bulls would be in the lottery. I've been down on Isaiah for various reasons - the Curry trade among them. But I have to give him and the team credit for two strong wins in a row against good teams.

I dont see anyway how the knicks could possibly finish the season with a better record than the bulls but i guess theres nothing wrong with savoring the moment while it lasts.

neither of these teams are good... certainly not right now. They are 6-10

I'm glad we are winning... guys are playing hard.

We cant trade with the Bulls anymore, they dont have any bad contract to take back

I don't see the joke......

First game of the season, dudes were saying that Tyrus Thomas showed them more in his first 5 minutes then Curry has in his career, we are stuck with Curry when we could have had Thomas...etc.

curry has not shown anything over the past 6 games to disprove that. right now, he's nothing more than a dunker off of alleyoops or easy set-ups from guards. he doesn't play defense, he doesn't block shot and he doesn't grab boards.

I love how the Knicks are playing but if the Bulls offer me Tyrus Thomas for Eddy Curry, I make that trade in a NY second.

Agreed 100%. Someone else put it great in another thread: Curry's always gonna play like an overweight rookie.

He's a rookie. That's why he isn't playing. He's still learning the game. Did you guys not watch college basketball? Tyrus showed more intensity in that final 4 than Curry is capable of. He's a defensive presence, and he's extremely athletic. He'd be a perfect compliment to Frye.

Tyrus was RAW in college, that's what I saw.

What the hell has Tyrus proved on this level to make him a better option than Curry? He may oneday develop into a decent player, but this is the NBA man and there are a lot of athletic guys like him that NEVER amount to much, cuz they're game is too limited.

Curry has been more active on defense lately and I think he's still a far more offensively potent and efficient threat than a guy like Tyrus. Curry still warps a defense cuz he's so capable inside. Teams have to help out against him. I dont know why this is so hard for people to understand. Having him is a good thing even tho he's not yet fully maximizing his talent.

Curry's 23 and is 56% career shooter. He's frustrating to watch, but a lot of that has to do with the starting guards unwillingness to get him the ball early. He has some bad habits, just like Ewing did, and needs to be coached up, but he's still more valuable that Tyrus.
