I'm watch the wizards game and etan Thomas was flopping before curry even started to dribble!

Its not fair. Curry is going to have to figure out how to move without backing down cuz the game has changed. Curry would be automatic 10 years ago. The nba is so *****!

Curry needs to get it deep and just go straight up. Get the ball off of the guards dish. Come across the lane more instead of trying to pound it and turn. Curry is too big and every single post player is coming in thinking flop. There are no real men left in the league. For you to flop and take pride in that they should take your testicles from you!

drop steps, quick spins, he needs to look at some Hakeem olajuwan tapes. curry is nimble enough to add some spin moves and drop steps, if he does that, guys just can't brace for the contact, and when they don't then he can power to the hoop for dunks and stuff..

the thing is curry knocks his guy down even when he's 5 feet from the basket. he's got a touch, he should use it. on so many of those offensive calls he's already plenty close enough.

Enyspree makes an excellent point about Curry needing to just come across the lane as Shaq frequently did with LA. The obvious problem is 3 seconds since our guards can't hit a moving target if their checks depended on it. If miraculously they could, however, I don't see why Curry wouldn't be good for 25 a night - and thats just doing that - run, catch, turn, dunk. That way, Curry can get points without having to add reverse spins, loopy crossovers, shimmy shakes and everything else that he clearly genetically lacks.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Anybody ever been called for an offensive foul in a pick up game?

I'm just giving fair warning. If we ever have a ultimateknicks basketball get together I will kick your ass if you call offensive foul in a game with no refs!

It appears to me that he is tossing the ball up, hoping to get the call.

I don't think I saw that from him last year.

Absolutely agree that calls shaq gets, curry is not.

Agguire and Herbie are jokes. We need to get Patrick in to work with Curry. Kareem has done wonders with the young bigs in LA.

I love LJ. Where the hell is he? Knicks need to hire Larry Johnson to work with curry. Johnson was the slickest post player I have ever seen. He was so reactive and smart with his back to the basket. He had a sliding dribble. Just freakin awesome. If curry could slide more side to side and do all the moves suggested by tkf, curry would be awesome.

Someone hire me to be a coach! I can be one hell of an assistant!

You come anywhere near me and I'm calling a foul.

Defenders aren't flopping. Notice Curry lowering his shoulder every time.

no way curry can be olajuwan. come on. hakeem was a skinny mofo. curry's a creampuff. He needs to learn that dance across the lane that shaq does. But more than that, he needs to learn how to get better position before he ever touches the ball.

among many, many, many other things.

sigh.

You are definately right. Curry has to dictate what happens out there. I think that's why shaq gets calls cuz he works hard to get possition and is actively trying to make his move rather than just pounding. Shaq does a lot of charging but I think the refs understand how hard he works and give him the benifit of the doubt.

Curry has the reaction time of a old boxer that has been hit in the head too much. "punchy" as they say.

All the greats fought and held their position where the guards can give it to them where they like it. That's when they do their thing. Curry then has to stop banging on the dribble and feel his way into the move he wants. Nobody can guard him but curry doesn't know that and feel that. Will he ever?

The worst thing Isiah has done as coach is invest our future in 3 bigs (frye , curry, Lee) but simply refuse to hire a real big mans coach. These kids need individual coaching. Bynum gets it. Dwight Howard gets it. But our guys cant? Aguire isnt it. He was never known for rebounding nor shot blocking. we need thses guys to play at rim level. aguire was a 6 foot 6 sf who couldnt get off the ground.

Also for the person saying players arent flopping watch closely. These are 280 pound players ACTING like they have been shot with a cannonball. If they werent ACTING Curry would have a hard time knocking them down on purpose nevermind by total accident
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I have thought this for a superrrrr long time. For what Patrick means to this organization, he should be here helping to develop Eddie. When he was in Houston, he worked with Yao, look at Yao now, Yao has moves, turnaround jumpers. Great centers, teach you how to use your body, how to adjust.
How can you have Herb William and Aguirre, Role players at BEST in their day train what is suppose to be our Franchise player. This needs to be done ASAP, get a great big man to teach. Everyone knows you are as good as your teacher, you can have all the talent, but if someone doesnt show you how to use it. It's a waste. This is why we see flashes of brillance and flashes from hell with eddy.
