Actually I'd only do the deal with Minnesota, Foye is legit

Turiaf and Mihm, yuck

Devin Harris good but for Frye, I dunno. Besides, what have you done with SM3, Francis, N8 and Mardy?

How about drafting that big uconn guy, Hasheem Thabeet

I was gonna start a similiar thread.

I wish the knicks didn't have marbs, that way the knicks could have drafted Marcus Williams, lol.

Anyway, lol.

Right now I wish the knicks were Seattle. They have a good mix of players over there. Ridinour is playing like an all-star. If the knicks had that team plus curry I would be a happy mofo.

Ronnie turiaf is apart of the lakers future plus he's on the rookie contract.

The Lakers don't want AND 1 players they would never fit along side Bryant.

Garnett would have Curry crying screaming at him for not loving the game like him, Plus he makes too much money for so little production.

Devin Harris isn't a true pg and that is what the knicks need.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I know we cant get a franhcise player, but if we fill the team with tough skill players both mentally and physically--good things will happen. This is just a model of what they could do--of course it would never happen--but it's a *direction*. Id rather be able to acquire a player like an Ok4 or Bosh etc.. it isnt happening although we dont know what these types of players can yield---- it would be a better short and long term product and the fans would be happy with the direction and attitude of these types of players imho.

I watched Thabeet intensively the other night and he looked like a shell of what I saw from the I-8 summer league tourney games. That being said, he's going to develop into a top 5 or 3 pick and I was gauging the picks around the reality that we would be mid range--hasheem will probably look very shtty the first few times you see him, but his potential is dikembe Mutumbo for sure--people will see that quickly--so unless you have a top 5 or 3 pick forget it.

I would rather just try to get LA to take Crawford who i believe would flourish in a full time starter role next too players like Odom and Kobe, and a passing big man like Bynum.......I don't really want anything for him except the Lakers first round pick, and salary relief.....

Crawford for mihm and mckie.....

We don't need a gunner who plays no defense, we have nate in the scoring role off the bench, time to start moving contracts.....in order to rebuild the team and rid them of salary. Crawford at 10 million when steve and steph come off the books is no bargin

right now the only guys I'm not willing to move are Nate and Lee. Lee's FG% is UP from last year's +50%. Nate is looking more and more like a special scorer. I like the range he's showing and the mid range game is very good. Driving to the basket wont buy him much if he cant hit those mid shots and he's very good at it. He also makes some nice passes.

I have no idea what kind of NBA player Mardy is but IF he can defend 2's and IF he can run an offense (big IF's but I'm willing to find out over 50 games) he and Nate can be an interesting combo. Sort of a poor man's Iverson/Snow.

I still say we move Q to the Nuggets for their picks. I think thats got a high plausability.

Yes but I would rather give them Francis. Lakers could use another scorer and although Francis is not ideal for a triangle offense, he has talent and seems more willing to listen at this point in his career. They lost to the Suns last year, because the had no perimeter scorer other than Bryant. The Lakers are definitely thinking playoffs. A Francis for Mckie and Mihm and 1st round pick might work under the cap rules. We eliminate the logjam at the 2 spot, add a first round pick, and create some cap relief when Mihm's contract drops off and we can cut Mckie if he does not fit. The lakers are in a big market and can afford to go over the salary cap. A team of Francis, Bryant, Odom, and Bynum/Brown, would be pretty tough.

King1 have you seen durant play---he's going to be in the mix for 2 with noah easily. NYers would love tyler, but isiah will take some obscure player from jackson state--if we had taken bynum with a two year plan an prepared to gear with cap room and draft picks for 2007, we couldve built a real championship contender for 10+
