I know PJ has said some good things about JC in the past as a pure 1. That is a trouble spot on the Lakers and with Turriaf coming on really strong--no need for all those big guys. Mihm =ending contract and help for this year as a true back up 5.

exactly the type of deal that this team needs, crawford would start and play well in LA, but we just have two many players that do the same thing and he can not be central to rebuilding or winning and the lakers are in a situation where they need to add talent at the pg position

Crawford/Parker
Kobe/Evans
Odom
Brown
Bynum

I think this deal makes a lot of sense because we frankly are terrible and Crawford is a fragile player and would benefit from a change. But Isiah again is clueless to what he is doing so he won't make the deal.

Just what we need: Another big, soft, inconsistent player.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

who saves four years of contract for a player that can't play defense or help this team because he is shell shocked half the time......

JUST WHAT THIS TEAM NEEDS people that don't have a real vision and want to hold onto the crap

I would do a Mihm and Farmer for Crawford trade (if it works under the cap). Farmer looks like he can be a pass-first starting PG in a couple of years and Mihm will come off the books. The Lakers are trying to win now and might actually be interested in this deal. I probably would not do a straight Crawford for Mihm. We obviously are not going to resign Mihm unless he comes cheap and thus, we would be giving up Crawford for nothing. He is too good to just let him go, especially since his salary is not ridiculous.

I'm sorry but what game is everyone watching Crawford is ****ing terrible, he is nothing more than a talented scorer on a losing team, we are not getting farmer, all we can hope for is a first round pick from the lakers, who are obviously building a nice future core, Evans, Turiaf, Farmer, Bynum.

Did you not read the article this morning about the knicks being shaken and they don't know how to win, Crawford is not going to make it here, he is a streetball player that is one dimensional and if you can clear his salary off the books you do it. As far as I'm concerned you can move everyone but Q, Lee, Curry, Jefferies, Nate, Balkman.

This team doesn't need crawford because we have been lottery bound, just like every team he has played for. You can't build a team of losers and hope they become winners.....

My point is that if you put Crawford on the lakers, next to Kobe, he is going to blowup. You have a jaded view of him, but in the right system surrounded by the right players Crawford could easily average 16 points and 5-6 assists. Why just give him away when he is a tradeable player. If the Lakers want him, give us something we want, i.e. Farmer or a draft pick (and I would prefer Farmer). Mihm is a solid player but we already have Curry, Lee, Frye (who I think will eventually find his game), and JJ1. We are not going to sign Mihm to a big contract at the end of the season, so we would be giving Crawford up for nothing. Think how you are going to feel when the lakers are going deep into the playoffs with Crawford at PG and we are left with nothing to show for it.

The only way I'd get excited about Mihm for Crawford is if it helps us get under the cap sooner.

I hope your not implying that these guys are off limits to other teams. You seriously wouldn't trade Q? You wouldn't trade Jeffries or Nate? Why not? Trade them all. No one we have should be untouchable.

Well, no one is touching Q unless we are getting darius miles in that deal, so as far as i'm concerned he is not moving him.

Jefferies, if someone wanted him they would have offered him the mid-level this summer; so i don't think you can move them.

Nate right now is very cheap, and i think one more year he matures into a better player will have more value, he is someone who is marketers dream, let him get in the dunk contest again and up his value after the year and then move him......I'm surprised Isiah didn't make more of an effort for charlie villenuava over the summer, if i am toronto i think a nate Jackie package looks a little better than tj ford......

ITS A FUCKING SALARY DUMP, MIHM is gone after the year, cap flexibility you get another contract off the books and have more salary room in 3 years when the contracts expire, that 9million in salary for crawford......you get rid of 27million that is owed to him

Plus the cap drops and gives the team room to make a deal for major talents

If the purpose is to dump salary, I think we can trade Crawford for a second round pick.

I thought that Memphis trade was ridiculous when I saw just Eddie Jones and Lowry. When you throw in Warrick it becomes just sad. Come on.

i'd sooner offer Frye & CHI's 1st rounder to ATL for Josh Smith
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
