what's up everyone, big smooth here, haven't been around in a while.

i know we all try to pretend we love the channing frye pick, but who saw bynum tonight running the CLINIC on KG.

unbelievable stuff, this guy is only 19 YEARS OLD he should be a sophomore at UCONN gearing up to win a title w/ amityville's finest aj price.

for those who didn't see the game, here's this guy's statline:

29 minutes, 20 points (6-9 fg, 8-10 ft), 14 rebounds (3 offensive), 3 HUGE blocks.

a 19 year old was making kevin garnett look SILLY on the defensive end.

(for those who forgot)

Kevin Garnett: 1 MVP, 3 first team all nba, 9 all star games, 1 all star game mvp, 5 TIME ALL-DEFENSE FIRST TEAM

bynum was 6 FOR 9 from the field on a 5-time member of the nba all-defense first team!

we all have to look in the mirror tomorrow and realize the knicks could have had EITHER amare stoudemire OR andrew bynum and instead we have a bunch of overpaid f-ing jokers who are gonna hustle and maybe win 35 games this year.

btw good news the dems got the house and took seats in the senate.

I cant take it... seriously I cant. Bynum is franchise player material. Marcus Williams has the makings of a bigtime PG. Seriously... this is depressing me.

Marv!!!! I need therapy! Seriously man I'm on the ledge. Isiah's failures are magnified by the success of these guys he let walk by.

Can we fire Isiah after this road trip and gut this freakin team?

There is no denying it, he has completely screwed this franchise. On both ends!!! He's jacked the present with straight asinine trades and contracts. Most are completly mind boggling. But worse then that, he's completly wrecked the FUTURE. HE HAS MADE GLARING OVERSITES AND MISTAKES in his draft choices. Trust me, when folks look back over his career with the Knicks and all that transpired while he was with the KNICKS and more importantly when he leaves, He will go down in history as one of the worst GM's in NBA history! We are feeling it now, but the real damage won't be felt until AFTER he leaves and the KNICKS are left with their deficient players and the sad reality that all of the players that a half good GM would have chosen are flourishing and having BIG careers. That was the one star by Isiah's name, he strength in draft picks. That has seriously been compromised.

I think when people start to take a look at what he has done while he was here, his tenure will be viewed as worst then the Patrick Ewing trade! I guarantee it!
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

What's up Bigsmooth--hope college is going well for you. It's not about giving anyone a hand--it's more like it's stinks for Knick fans that we couldve had atleast one of these players. I tried my hardest to be repetitive and annoying about Bynum because I know they watch these forums, and from watching Bynum in person I knew he'd be a special-type player. I didnt think it would happen this fast, but it was easy to see it would happen--they just DID NOT look hard enough. I wanted them to take a much harder look--to go outside the box and I KNOW for FACT that they did not do this concerning Bynum. It was a done deal with Frye--Bynum wasnt even a blip--they would not have taken Bynum even if Channing went somewhere else. They can BS and say they were trying to get a second pick, but who cares. They had the pick there--it was a reasonable area to go for it and they chose a so-called safe path with Brian Cook. Winners think big--we DO NOT have WINNERS making decisions.

Yo BigSmooth. How have you been. I watched a bit of the Lakers game last night and boy Bynum looked great for a guy getting his first real playing time. Blocking shots, holding the ball up high on his post moves. I was impressed.

He is still only 19!

Actually if the lakers managed to move Kobe for some nice pieces, they could have another run in a few years.

Bynum IS the real deal. The offense, the defense, the hustle, the smarts and then you have the lack foresight and ineptitude that our GM showed during that draft. What an absolute CRIME.

Ive watched a lot of the NBA--the Lakers are a PG or a really good combo away from being very serious contrenders. They have a nice piece in Mihm[or kwame?] to get into the market place, but I think Mihm would be attractive. If I were the lakers, Id be looking at the Celtics and Delonte West. He's injured[but playing] but he's the type of player that could put them over the top this year. C's need a big man.

This kills me because when I say I could do a better job, and other people say the same things, I love hearing everyone **** on you for simply stating the facts......

Did we have a chance to do anything last year? NO! So you take a chance on the center and hope for the best don't grab the supposed sure thing and hope you make the playoffs.

I can tell you I would have taken Bynum, not signed JJ or made the Francis or Rose deals which were all terrible and not drafting a real pg is terrible.

Briggs brought up a great point about possibly sending crawford to LA for Mihm and expiring deal and i think that one helps the lakers get over the edge. They get their bunch scorer to go with farmer and bryant for the future.....

geez, the bynum bandwagon hopping has already begun. A lot of you talk about the knicks players crumbling under adversity, most of you are the same way. after 4 games, Bynum is a franchise talent, frye stinks, and IT has no eye for talent.... Yea we have issues, I am not jumping ship, I watched the game, I saw bynum score some easy baskets in that triangle offense, heck even walton looks great, and Odom.. wow.. so I am not going to go overboard here..

the bandwagon makes it's appearance after every good game Bynum has, & is in the shop for repairs during others.
