The Spurs usually dominated teams in the paint. We nearly doubled their points in the paint

Duncan 15pts
Elson 4 pts
Oberto 4pts

The 2 guys that killed us were Parker and Barry but most of their points were from outside. They were 7-9 on 3 pointers.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

genearally speaking it means the Knicks were collapsing and clogging the lane... but to the detriment to the perimeter defense.

zone defense. we start games out playing zone to minimize their guards abusing ours and to prevent post ups.

the bright side to me is that there are flashes of this team putting it together.

Another Bright side. Knicks fought their way back into the game. They did not roll over. Last year we lose by 50.

An awful game. Whatever brightside to the game is miniscule compared to the downside. Whats the downside? Take your pick.

Ok this was a baby step forward. Knicks right now need more than just baby steps forward, or else they need another 10 million baby steps forward. Only good thing about this game is that they came back and contended with their bench. but again they lost, and they competed too little too late.

Baby step forward and thats it, nothing to get excited over. And in the end, they still lost.

totally. after the game duncan is laughing it up with malik at midcourt. they played like a championship team vs. a scrub one.

The bright side is that Collins can play. The bright side is Rose can play, Nate is for real and Marbury said F$#@ it and started to play a little. Curry looked OK still. Q was steady. Lee was there.

The future is not too bad. They need VET leadership in the form of a real leader on the floor. Rose is the closest thing they have right now.

They are pretty much best friends so why wouldnt they be laughing about Malik pulling all his vet tricks on Duncan?

Look we lost. That cant be denied. I'm at a point where I'm looking for bright spots. Some progress. I have seen some bright spots this year.

I think that 13-2 run to end the game was just more proof of that. They were toying with us and not taking us seriously until the closing moments of the 4th when the lead went down to 1 - and then they woke up.

Nevertheless, I always say a win is a win is a win whether they're injured, tired or bored. The Spurs were already tired and got bored (twice) and we almost got 'em. Yeah, "almost" ain't good enough, you either win or you lose, but you gotta admit: a 20-2 run against a championship contender and arguably the best defensive team in the league is nothing to brush off. I'm not so ready to cast that comeback as a fluke yet.

The bad side

Beno Uldrich and Brent Barry made "I'm The Best" and the rest of the backcourt save Nate their Beeyotch. Tony Parker had some moments of Ownage then got board till the end. Wasn't it the other game Daryl Armstrong and Jasukevi(sp?) oh and then the other game Tyron Lue oh and the other game Chucky Atkins and some 6'0" nobody by the name of Kyle Lowry snagged 10boards in 25min. Anyone see a trend here.
