Eddy Curry is playing 39 minutes per game.

That is very encouraging - Still needs more boards and more touches... But man, thats a good sign!!!!

Its a start. He is still a 23 tear old project. But he is improving in several ways. Still needs to drop 20 more pounds and get mean on the boards. He lets himself get boxed out and lets his own teammates take rebounds when he is in position. Its his nature.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

He also still needs work passing out of the post. He had a .11 assist-to-turnover ratio last season. This season he's at 1 assist and 8 turnovers. (though to be fair, our backcourt hasn't helped him much in this area).

Post guys rarely have great assist to to numbers.
Thats like judging PGs by shot blocks. Curry has 2 assists by the way
Shaq is one of the best passing centers around. He has 1 assist and 8 tos.

So far we're getting 20 and 7 out of Curry. It's not bad. I think Curry may have a hard time maintaining 20 pts as the season progresses, just because of minutes and our guard passing. But if he can play let's say 37 mpg, I could see him putting up 18 and 8.

On a side note, if he puts up less than 10 rpg, I'm gonna make a little money.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

19.7 and 7.3 now (career highs). He's off to a good start.
How would you make money? Was someone dumb enough to bet that he would average 10 rpg?

looks like isiah is doing everything in his power to get curry easy baskets so his trade doesn't seem like one of the worst ones in nba history.

he's still not using curry correctly tho. he needs to get the ball in the post EVERY TIME DOWN COURT. too many times i see curry at the elbow. what is he doing there? too many times he posts up only to get ignored. we have to play inside out and 1/2 court. that's our strength...not this BULLSH T up tempo crap.

Oh, I see. So you're saying that he's playing Curry too much, right? That he should forget about Curry because the trade doesn't matter now.
he needs to get the ball in the post EVERY TIME DOWN COURT.

Hmm.. now that's a little contradictory isn't it?
looks like DJSUNYC is doing everything in his power to get curry easy baskets so his trade doesn't seem like one of the worst ones in nba history.

Now that quote seems about as fair as the first one.

Yeah, I noticed the contradiction right away too

I don't see how DJ was contradictory. All he is saying is that whenever Curry is on the court, he has to get the ball. It has nothing to do with him saying Curry should play every minute of every game.

On the on hand, you're criticizing Isiah for getting so many shots for Curry. (Isiah's doing it only to try to make the Curry deal look good.) on the other hand, you're saying Curry should actually be getting *more* shots. That seems contradictory to me and I'm guessing that's what Metra meant also.

It seemed contradictory to me as well but I didnt bother. currys hoops havent been very easy. The guy works pretty hard to get position for 80% of his hoops.

Agreed. Also, scoring isn't the problem with Curry. He can score on anyone as long as he wants to score and as long as he stays out of foul trouble.

I just want to be clear that I'm not trying to attack DJ. I enjoy reading his posts. I did think what he said about Isiah getting shots for Curry was a bit unfair, though.

I don't think your attacking him. I misread his original post and didn't see the contradiction, but as much as I love DJ, he contradicted himself
