Nate is playing inspirational basketball

Eddy Curry is showing improved output with bonus minutes

Consider

Jeffries will change the frontcourt defensive matchups.

Al harrington goes for 32 with Jared on him?

I don't think so.

Q
Curry
Lee
Nate
are all playing much better than last year

Francis is getting it as well.

But those 5 are not enough. We need 2 guards that can defend
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Knick body language====awful
knick defense=putrid
knick offense---freestyle
Frye--the next duncan or the next brian cook? disaster
Crawford--given so many chances, shows so much at times, but ya know what he scks. im a fan of his game but even i have to admit he is so drastically inconsistent that he CANNOT be a main cog on a winning team.
francis--next
marbury-next
nate---i wanted him at 30 and he's proved me swell i like nate nate has ball s and skills and he cares. go get 50 techs nate but do your thing.
q rich---playing in and out using his power. i think someone has told him that its easier to make a layup than a 3.
balkman--the next rodman/artest or more likely a complete fcking waste of an opportunity to get a serious PG
collins--who?
jefferies-hes lebron james cant wait for his return
lee-my man love him --but now he must undo what he did this summer. his quicknes is gone and defense has become putrid
curry--only real value on team how long before he implodes?
who else?
james malik cato
we should/deserve/would be better off 0-3 1-2 against this schedule ===disaster looming.
next game it doesnt proclaim we will stink, he simply puts 50gs on the spurs
RIP Crushalot😞

oohah - you really ready to jump ship three games into an 82 game scedule?

I must have over-estimated the courage on this board. Two losses and people are scurrying for cover like roaches in a bright light.

Have some backbone!

where was all this fear and venom when the Knicks were 0-5 last season?

sheesh

You've missed my point entirely. You stated that when the anti-Knick venom subsides maybe we can discuss basketball....it's gonna be a long time for it to subside.

the board is a mirror image of last year this time 'cept no HoF coach fresh off back to back trips to the NBA Finals to escapegoat for it.

LMAO at the escapegoat stuff! Mcgrady really is a dumbass.

The pessimism is killing me more than the Knicks playing style and their losses. What the point of watching the game if you expect them to lose. I cannot, I just cannot root for the Knicks to lose. Curry is phenominal. He needs to be a better rebounder. I'll judge this team around the all-star break. Isiah's last chance.

We don't expect them to lose. Our fearless leader, Isiah Thomas, is the one who expects them to lose.

still plenty of time to come together. can't watch but from reading it seems Isiah is being put in the same pos his other 4 coaches have been regarding Stiph. All those times he backed no. 3.

Now what

little over a month left before the anniversary of the 3 yr deal Zeke signed

Misterearl - good thread.

Last night was tough to watch. Marbury stunk it up.

The sked in November is very tough and losing a defender like Jeffries hurts alot.

Better things will come soon.

Losing Jefferies is not an excuse. Quentin is just as good a defender and he's healthy and he's one of the few who's consistently playing very very good. That completely throws the Jared excuse in the trash. Next?

Isiah really blew it in the papers yesterday. Its like telling your kids that they might be really bad in school this year. Once you do that you put the idea in their heads. Then they come out with that mind set

it's gonna be a long time for it to subside.

oohah - my bad. I gotta re-check my comprehension skills

Like GoNY sez, anyone who took an objective peek at the early schedule KNEW there would be some difficult days. All I'm suggesting is that some players on the Knicks are worth cheering for.

No matter what. They are young and growing into new roles and responsibilities. Some, like Frye and David Lee... new bodies. Balkman... new hair. Nate - new control. Quentin - new confidence.

Eddy - new braids.

... besides, the Celtics are 0-3

Allanfan - the absence of Jeffries is not offered as an excuse. Lemme get this straight, you are suggesting a fluid 6'11 compliment to the solid play of Richarson would not make a difference on defense in the frontcourt against the 6'10 Harrington?

I beg to differ.

It won't take that long. As soon as Isiah is gone we'll all have hope.

Does anyone think that more production out of Frye will help?
