is to trade one of the three guards, Steph, francis, and JC, along with Nate, Channing or David. Package these together for a shooter and a defensive minded guard. You get rid of a bad contract and take care of the two most glaring needs of the team. The only way a team takes one of the guards is to take a young salary with potential. Joe Johnson looked like Lebron and Chucky Atkins looked like an all star the other night. What happens when we play real guards like Lebron and Kobe? We have enough scorers we just need some defense and a shooter.

Yes, but who has shooters to spare? Look at how long denver has been in the same boat and I'm sure they're offering Nene and the like.

only way the knicks can get better...is to wait it out. get rid of isiah. bring in another gm. and just be patient.

nobody wants marbury. not too many want francis. and do you want to package some kids to dump them? might as well just release those two.

we're in trouble.

I concur. We should see how this season goes. I like our young core. No more long contract veterans. Keep all our talent this season since we swap picks anyway. Dumping Marbs and Francis WILL make us worse in the short term.

I put some crazy trades together as a joke yesterday but people liked them.
Marbury and Frye for Zach Randolph and Brandon Roy
Jcraw for Luke Ridenour and a #2 draft pick

Curry
Randolph
Qrich
Roy
Ridenour
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

The only way they can get better is to get new ownership, which will never happen.

The only way to get out of it, has long passed, when we signed the contracts. We have to live with it until it's over with. There will be no trades involving any of the guys you mentioned. Looks like Zeke may have trapped himself afterall, not with bad talent, but ball hogers with attitude. We are a Crawford and Frye away from winning these games. It doesn't matter who we bring here. I'm convinced that whoever comes to NY will have the same problems. It's not the players. It's the environmnet. There no real support for this team.
I'll never trust this' team again.

No GM in they're right mind is going to go after starbury. They know he is a cancer to a team.

The only way the Knicks will get better is by trading their young attractive players coupled with players like Franbury and get the rosters off the books for expirings. Time to start from scratch.

One step at a time. I think we can get more value for Crawford right now. Showcase him and then trade him. Do the same for Francis. Then start Q, Steph in the back

Problem is that we should've traded Crawford at the height of his trade value which was after last year. Now that he's back to gunning, I can't see any team wanting him.

Carter trade or another trade? I was against the Carter trade because at that time it was believe by everyone (except playa2) that Carter is injury prone. I would do the trade if given a second chance but back then, I wouldn't.

Which trade was it? I cannot remember what happened with trade talks last year.
