I like your selections TMS, I think I would take Ridnour over Marbury but all the other I agree with. I'd also take Chris Duhon from the Bulls over Marbury as well.

i think Telfair could be just as good as Marbury w/the right coaching, & definitely can be a better fit in a team concept... i think Isiah would be a great coach for Telfair to learn from.

reason being is because I feel Marbs can do somethings better than the ones mentioned...He is more of a total package.

Iverson and Areanes are better shooters but Marbs is a better passer...Billups is a better defender but not a better shooter or *again* passer.....you know what I'm saying?

i respect ur opinions but i have to disagree, especially on Marbs being more of a total package over Iverson or Arenas... both those guys are better rebounders, better defenders, & better scorers than Marbs... & i'd venture to guess that if Iverson needed to, he could easily average more assists per season than Marbury could... he's simply a better player in my eyes... but i appreciate u backing up ur opinions w/reasons, & not flaming me for my choices like Bip. *cough*

Hey when I see someone that disagrees with me, I flame. that's all I got.

I agree with TMS on the whole "total package" thing. I think Marbs is a complete offensive package but in terms of defense, rebounding, intangibles, leadership he really is a step below some on this list.

I expect iverson to pull a tiny archibald and become a straight up point guard when he starts to slow down. Tiny was crazy fast and elusive then turned into a strict floor general in his twilight.

Anyway. I agree with everyone. All the points see valid.

Marbs is definately not a true point guard. Everyone knows that. Marbs has to be in a zone in order to really be dominant. Still that is a day to day thing. He gets 8 assist but that is all just off of driving and droping it off somewhere. That's the Brooklyn point guard way. He is the offense and always was since he was a baby. Never really had to direct a true offense. Still a major talent.
