Who cares about proving anyone wrong. This team is going to get better as they get more used to playing this style and in this system together. So far we've seen nothing but positive signs of improvement. We still have a long way to go, but there are good signs.
Q and Curry in particular. Lee is also stepping up. I think steph and Francis will be fine and there will come a time when we'll need them to do what they do best. Overall the team is deep and they're having fun playing with each other. isiah has done an EXCELLENT job of building team unity and as I said earlier they JUST GOT STARTED! just wait and see how this team improves as we go along this year.
Atlanta will be a tough game mainly cuz they have a lot of athletes who are quick and explosive and you know how we aren't really built that way. We'll give up some offensive rebounds if we're not solid in boxing out. Still we should win due to our depth, quick guards and inside strength. I don't think Atlanta will be able to slow us down enough.
Once again another post degenerates to who is the "best fan". Does anyone else find hearing this nonsense over and over again to be incrdibly boring. Some guys, that's all they post. They have nothing to say, all they do is go post to post trying to find someone who said something negative about someone that they like and then they start this "you aren't a fan, you're a hater crap". Only to attack JJ or Malik two posts later. Ridiculous.
Thanks Nixluva for at least trying to bring some conversation to this post. To me, it's been one game against a bad team with another one to follow. If we are to make the playoffs these are the games we have to win. I don't care how we win. I don't care if we blow a lead. Just win the game and work on the problems as we go. That's what we did with Memphis let's move on and try to learn from it so that we can stop making the same mistakes over and over again. Tonight we should win.
As for the team. We are deep. That's a good thing. But it just goes to show how much better we would be if we had someone else in the backcourt that does somehting different than what our guys all do, which is score. Again the depth is good but versatility is better. For us to take a giant leap forward one of these guards has to be traded for a different type of player(perimeter defender, rugged rebounder, intimidator).
