We have a pretty deep team. We have legit backups all over the place. What player on the team would we be in the most trouble if a Knick was injured for the season or an extended amount of time?

Which Knick is the hardest to replace?
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Big Game. Can't replace what he does at the buffet table before the game.

As amazed as I am to say this, it could very well be Q, since he is looking like the floor leader, and we are now pretty thin at the SF spot with Jeffries injured.

Otherwise, I'd say Curry. I think we need him otherwise we are almost entirely dependent upon guard play to win games. Unless Frye shows signs of life again.

David Lee also gets a second or third place nomination since he plays so big with his energy level, key rebounding and hustle.

Good choices but you have to pick 1 guy.

I look at it like this so far positionally:

Curry/James/Cato
Frye/Lee/Malik
Qrich/Jeffries/Balkman
Jclutch/Nate/Collins
Francis/Marbury/Collins

I think I would lean to Curry.

Sugar, I think Curry too, theoretically. But unfortunately on too many nights he renders himself nearly irrelevant to begin with, and in doing so makes himself in absolute need of replacement.

Until we have guys who play consistently, no one is irreplaceable. Right now I think our most consistent and irreplaceable guy is Lee. I really think we'd have been dust without him last night.

Marbury is somewhat consistent, but not in terms of energy and demeanor. I really don't count on him anymore and I find his "all-star" caliber performances few and far between, and you never know what you'll get in the clutch.

Maybe in time Jeffries will render Lee replaceable, but I doubt it. Right now I'd go so far as to say that Lee is the soul of this team, followed by Crawford.

And if anyone wants to bring up Crawford's inconsistency... well, I agree... as our record would indicate.

I don't think there's a Knicks who couldn't be replaced. Maybe Curry, not that Curry is their most valauable player or anything like that

Anybody can be replaced but if curry or Q were to get hurt right now the knicks would be in trouble.

Frye is a puss. And after Q knicks don't have a guy that can lead the knicks in scoring like Q did last night from the 3 spot.

Curry w/o a doubt... we don't have another player that can do the same things he can in the low post & command a double team at times... if Marbury goes down, Francis or Jamal can take over his role at least... who's going to replace Curry? Kelvin Cato? Channing Frye's game is completely different & he doesn't command the same amount of attention that Curry can if he gets it going.

I don't think we have this kind of player yet.

We can defenetely leave without Steve and Marbs. Sometimes we will be better without them
We will defenetly fill the absence of Craf, Curry, Lee, Q, Nate, Jeffreys, and somehow Fry
Cato, JJ, MRose are just bodies to fill the void and it is early to talk about ruks.

I'd also have to say Curry.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I second that opinion.

Curry withouit a doubt! If he doesn't play his potential is one thing, but not to be there, he won't have a chance to prove it. I like my chances much better with in the line-up. You can't deny his presence. The rebounds are starting to pile up.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I love it that Q's three is back in style, and the outside bomb is going to be exciting, but you can shoot all the threes you want. And you better make all' of them if you want to win. Curry in the middle is more important. We have plenty of shooters.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Curry

J.James is injured...and Cato, IMO, can't go a full game manning the middle.

Curry would be the hardest to replace just because of his position.

Actually is there any way we can get Marbury to sit out an extended Period of time? Maybe send him and Francis on a "cruise" together?
