The constant bickering and "we should have drafted Marcus Williams" crap is old, tired and just disturbing. Some people just need to let go, yes everyone has the right to their opinion, yeah Thomas is the devil I just don't need to read it in EVERY post. You know what in the Ewing years we never drafted and developed our young players now we may have too many. Point being, we have something to look forward to. The most ridiculous post yet digging up stuff that Thomas said about Bird years ago. What does that have to do with today's Knicks. You know what if you are so negative and find so many faults with the Knick players, GM, Ownership and the oragnizations as a whole maybe it is time for some people to start rooting for another team. I'm a Knick fan through and through, I am with them good, bad and even the ugly. For the record I think Knick fans on a whole are some of the most knowledgable around, but there are few that are so jaded they cannot even see that this team while not great, could make some noise if given the chance to grow and develop. We have to start somewhere, I think we are a deep team and our second unit will be kicking some ass this season. So it is not the end of the world if Thomas is the coach.

Only time will tell. But lets face reality, the knicks are not even good enough to put on (atleast in the eyes of the network bosses) national TV. The knicks who have the biggest market in all of sports, and still are in the to 10 in attendence. No the jaded ones have reasons.

We will have more to talk about once the season starts. For now, people seem to keep bringing up the same stuff that has been discussed all summer. Hopefully, the team will provide us with good things to talk about over the next few months. I am with you, this team has too much promise for people to be so negative. Give the team a chance.

network television games are based on the previous year's record. Only in extreme cases (lebron)

The one thing I don't get. If you don't like talking about the same old Balkman threads then don't post in them! Ignore them. People come to a forum for a reason, to talk all things that have to do with the Knicks. Drafting Balkman over Marcus Williams is something that a lot of Knick fans want to talk about. Don't get pissed and angry because people are saying Isiah should have drafted someone else. Who cares? Everyone has a different idea. I personally wanted Marcus Williams big-time, I feel the Knicks are in need of a real pass first PG. I'm not mad at Balkman, infact, I think he looks pretty nice so far. Nothing spectacular but he looks nice. A lot of people were gaga over Trevor Ariza too and he didn't necessarily turn into anything special(yet.)

I just can't stand that when people on this forum get on other fans because they are not pleased with their FAVORITE basketball team. Everyone on this forum is a huge Knicks fan. Some people like to always see the positives and some like to look at things in a more balanced and real manner. Just because I personally don't like every god damn thing about the Knicks does not mean that I'm not a fan. Fact of the matter, this team has been nowhere near good for years and I'm not happy about it. I'm not going to go gaga because the Knicks have won 3 games in preseason. I'm going to call things like I see them and just because I might say something about your favorite Knick in no way means that I'm against this team, it means I'm against what is going on here. So far the team looks ok, it's only preseason and the preseason COULD HAVE(not WOULD HAVE but COULD HAVE) been different had Carter, Kidd, Webber, Pierce all played. Aside from that, I'm still insanely worried about the defense on this team and I'm still worried about the Marbury/Francis backcourt.

Get over it guys, if I hear one more person on this ****ing KNICKS forum that I need to go find another team to root for because I'm pissed that my team sucks, I'm going to lose it. If you don't like what some real fans on this site have to say then go start your own forum where you can ban and warn every person that doesn't conform to propaganda correctly.

I do understand your point that you have your right to express your opinion, and I certainly enjoy the debate. The fact is, if no one was complaining about anything, what we be talking about. I guess some people, including myself, are getting hyped about the season and all the negativity is blowing our high. Can't wait until the season starts.

Hey man, I'm hoping and praying that the Knicks emerge as title contenders this year as I am every year! At the same time, I can't hide the fact that this team has major flaws. I think we can all agree that we want a great year though, no matter what we think will happen.

I know. I cannot take any negative stuff right now. i know its coming. I can see us goig 0-5. I can see my entire week being a mess so I'm in no hurry to get there. Right now, I just want to enjoy the unbeaten meaningless preseason.

NAH! I'm not even going there. This team has every opportunity to get off to a good start like any other team. I HATE all this lame talk about what the team had done in the past. For one thing MOST of these players have only been here for the last season or less. SO let's just kill all of that crap about what these guys can or can't do based on the past. You want to make judgments on this group based off of what LB did last year? DO ahead, but i'm gonna be here to call you on it everytime, cuz so far I haven't seen one thing that shows this team is not trying to do everything Isiah is asking of them. This includes things that some of us said this team COULDN'T do. Yet we see them sharing the ball, moving and playing as a unit. Last year is gone and this year we may just get a team worth rooting for, so let's REALLY give them a CLEAN SLATE and stop with all this mention of what they historically did or how they've never been able to do this or that. USE your da** eyes and see what they are ACTUALLY DOING!

When have you ever seen them do the things they've been doing so far this year? Well they're actually playing like a team and until they show me otherwise i'm gonne enjoy what they're doing THIS YEAR.
