All I have to say is this. I take Greg Anthony's side. Greg--like many other Knick fans have grown WEARY of the disaster called the Ny knicks. Greg Anthony wasn't wrong--I remember he wanted us to pick Marcus Williams and that shouldve been our pick. No one was picking Balkman before 29. And no matterw aht Marcus Williams is a superior player to Balkman, a serious lotteryb talent with the best passing ability I have seen since Magic Johnson. yeah he has a little Marc Jackson in him, but unlike Mark, he can really shoot it and has a crafty and quick 1st step that i watched him use on every knick guard including nate to free himself at will. Balkman looks good so far, but he's not the second coming here. Was it wrong for Greg to speak out? Not from where I wa standing, greg is a Knick, IT hasnt proven to be more than a low-class media whore who--after a slight stretch of good play in pre-season against teams without the stars has the audacity to speak out against someone else. No isiah, you are the Knick poser until proven otherwise.

I'm an Isiah fan but i dont like tha manipulation nor the timing. Isiah knows how to pick his fights. He waits till things are going well and then picks the one thing Anthony may have been wrong about. There are a dozen things Anthony has been right about in regards to our team the last 2 years and Isiah never brought those up
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

LOL I think Isiah is still mad that Mark Jackson and Greg Anthony ended his playoff career by holding him to 34% shooting for 5 games. :)

I've thought for awhile that Greg Anthony would make a pretty good GM. An excellent way for Greg to get back at Isiah is to take his GM job and turn this upsidedown franchise back upright.

"This so-called former Knick, on draft night with millions of people watching, had the audacity to take me to task on a player that I'm pretty sure he had never seen before in his life," Thomas said. "But he stands on national television and talks about a kid he has absolutely no idea about. I'm just glad that all of New York doesn't think like Greg Anthony."

Thomas went on to question Anthony's credentials as a TV commentator, and even took a slap at his 12-year NBA playing career.

aside from the questioning of Anthony's credentials as a TV commentator & as a player, which was completely unnecessary & childish, i think Isiah's statement here is completely fair... it's very likely that Anthony hadn't seen Balkman ever before either & was talking out of his arse on draft night just like many others who were complaining about the pick were i'm sure... most reasonable fans chose to keep an open mind on the pick until they saw what they were actually getting... i noticed Spike Lee didn't overreact when everyone else in the house was booing & going crazy when Stern announced the pick.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I wonder if Isiah will be so vocal saying Anthony was right if Balkman proves to be a training camp wonder......

And I would also like to know exactly what Isiah Thomas knows about being "true" Knick. Last I knew Greg Anthony actually was on the team during a successful time and Isiah Thomas actually rejected a trade that would have sent him to the Knicks.

There are a dozen or so other subjects that Anthony has brought up that were Knicks related that Isiah ignored because he would look foolish. Isiah really could have opened himself to a massive barrage. You never get in a war of words with a person that buys ink by the barrel. Anthony so far has taken the high road by not responding

It didn't even bother me until Isiah used that stupid "true Knick" comment. Anthony is more of a true Knick than Isiah will ever be. Anthony actually WAS a Knick at one point in his career, for a long time. Isiah actually REJECTED a trade to the Knicks. ****ing hypocrite.

No Sh!t Briggs, say it ain't so.

Balkman is a keeper....no doubt about it. Balkman is much more necessary to what the Knicks need right now than M. Williams (who's also very good).

Last point, don't you ever use M_____ W_______ name in the same sentence with Earvin "Magic" Johnson ever AGAIN"!

Put that flippin BONG down. No the sky ain't falling.

Yeah man....that is a hypocritical bitch thing to say. Maybe Isiah has been taking media relations classes from Steph?

I don't think it was Zeke for Oak. Wasn't it Zeke for Tony Campbell? Basically, the same package we ended up using to acquire Derek Harper.
