Inspired by Fishmike (who thought I was a big Beast, lol) I decided to start this thread. I always wondered how some of you guys came up with your screennames.

I'll go first. I named myself (bigbeast) after the big east, who back in the 80's, was known as the Beasts of the East.

BTW, I'm one away from a 1000 (wow, 999 posts of nonsense).

I came over here from the MSG Forums and I originally used a screen name that was confusingly similar to someone else's screen name. I figured that, after moving to UK, I'd name myself something completely unrelated to the Knicks. So I was wearing a t-shirt that said "evil" on the front of it... I didn't want to think much so I looked at my shirt and registered as eViL (don't ask me about the capitalization -- I guess I thought it looked cool)...

PS: Elite, it's nice to know you're doing your thing in the music biz. I'm a big hip-hop fan. I even produced some ill beats in my fruity loops days. Rock music was still my passion so I could never justify dropping the dough on an MPC (which, if I'm not outdated, is the hot device to make beats on)... Though, if you ever need an MC -- holla. You might be surprised to know I spit fire...

Started out on the old ESPN boards as "cweb2ny" (as he was my favorite non-Knick and rumors were swirling). That 'coolness' of that sn wore off and so and trolls ruined the site..

I moved onto K4L as "mgmt" (its what i do for a living) and still post there occasionally.

After like 4 years of coming to this site each morning for my Knicks-Fix, I realized there were forums.. Duhh but here I decided on using my PokerStars sn "gr33d" (greed, money, poker.. get it) with the middle as my tribute to Ewing.

It's understandable if none of you understand the meaning behind my screen name. I am a huge Tim Allan fan and saw each episode of Home Improvement 20 times. Clearly has nothing to do with Allan Houston. Nothing at all.

The upper tier of the Garden (the 400's sections) is the rowdy section where the "real fans" sit. No corporate sponsors up there. The whole tier was known as "the blue seats" because that's what color they were before they redesigned the place in designer colors when Riley was hired.

I took that name because I had season tickets up there for 12 years. Sec 422, row A, seats 7 & 8. Truth be told, the first few years were 10 game mini-plans. And even when we had the full season we sold off all but 5-10 regular season games. But I went to every playoff game but one from 92-01.

Yeah, I was a "real" fan once. Now look what I've become...

Yeah, I was Starks and someone else was Starks3. The funny part was that I registered after Starks3, but I thought I was the only one because Starks was still available... then I saw posts from Starks3 -- D'oh!!
