We MUST win the first 2 games... they are winnable... and the next 8 games are gunna be real tough... I think we all agree it is imparitive for us to get off to a good start, and we have no chance to do so if we do not win those first 2 in my oppinion.... For Confidence, For Momentum... For hope!!!!!

10yrs following the knicks & I don't think I've ever seen them start the season 2-0 maybe during the 97-98. It would be nice but unlikely

That's right. Parker gets off to a slow start this season. Duncan is aging before our eyes. Zeke will have our guys up for this game. Plus, I think the Spurs are down a notch vs. recent years.

6-4 start. Curry usually plays well against Yao. Knicks never win in Denver. If Duncan is healthy, Knicks don't have a chance, just like last year. Knicks have to have a strong start so they don't dig themselves in a hole. Knicks had a good game against LeBron last year so maybe they can do it again. I'll give them that game since their at home.

Malik wants to "help" a championship team. DLee is giving Jeffries his run and we asking why we had to sign him? We miss Butler, Eddy is ok, Frye is ok, but we ain't talking about Marbury.

Ouch, I can see us starting 3-7 with that opening schedule. Ugh. Nice way to start the season.

Its gonna be rough. Jnicks should beat Memphis. I think a loss to Memphis would unleash a huge amount of rage.

The test for the knicks right away will be how they handle athletic forwards and protecting the fcuking rim. They gotta defend the three also. Memphis has a lot of 3pt whores.

At the same time the knicks should destroy Memphis inside and they should be able to trash them on the drive and in the open court.

This should be the knicks game in the bag.

I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

And I think that's being generous. Assuming wins over the Cavs and Wizards. I can't say that there's any gimmes in that 10 game stretch, with the exception of the Hawks.

Larry Brown had a record of 3-7 after 10 games last season, so I would expect Isiah to do better than that because, as we all know, Evil Larry sabotaged last season and was throwing games.
