I've been reading about the case between Larry Brown and the Knicks, and is Larry Brown serious? $12M for lawyers and damages? The guy is 66 yrs old, rich as it is, and he is waisting all this time for even more money? He wants $53.5million from the knicks, is he really gonna be able to spend all that money? He spent 8 and a half hours in court friday trying to get as much money for his greedyself, why can't he just sit in his fancy mansion and shut up. Larry Brown does not deserve a dime from the Knicks. He did a lousy job as coaching, and he was only in this for the money. At his age, why did he sign a 5 yr deal with the Knicks anyway? Did he really plan on staying here to coach That long?
He did a terrible coaching job and now he's trying to suck as much money out of the knicks as he can. Shame on Larry Brown. Its unbeleivable these sports figures. As ruch as they are, they still are cheap as can be and they still cry over money and try to get as much as they can by lawsuits. Larry Brown is a disgrace.

Unfrotunately you're right. It kinda does go with what we've been seeing from MSG anyway. We're just as bad as the Shinn and Woodridge

Can someone just set up an automatic twice-weekly reminder to hate Larry for the next five seasons or so?

Mondays and Thursdays would be good for me, those are garbage days where I live.

Not remotely comparable. Those guys didn't deliberately sabotage the team, and couldn't even begin to on the same scale. What's the point of sticking up for Brown at this point?

That might be okay, if every other day of the week could be Larry-free. (Whether you love him or hate him, enough already. Let's move on.)

By the way, its a private arbitration hearing outside the legal system.

Regardless of wins and losses, Larry has a contract and there is a legitimate dispute for both sides.

Will he spend all that money? Like players, half will go to taxes, and he needs to pay his agent and lawyer regardless of the size of the settlement.

It can disputed that any coach or GM who does not do his job is not worth the money. One could argue Isiah had made many improvments to the team, but has yet to show any results.

One could argue that Francis did not earn his salary last year.

I thought Jerome was clearly in violation of his contract by being so out of shape last season.

It can go on and on..................

Larry did a garbage job last year, but its hard to say Isiah and Dolan have such trusting histories that you can just bank on them vs. Larry.

They are in arbitration because dolan does not like public disputes and tried to have parameters installed in his contract. To one extent he violated some, but so has nearly everyone in sports to some degree.

Is that cause for dismissal? David Stern, not a jury of peers will decide.

I can't do Thursdays. That's the same night as basketball for me and I like to be in a good state of mind. How about Monday and Wednesday's. I'm normally full of hate on Wednesday's

Wednesdays are hard for me cause that's "I hate Lenny Wilkens" day. Fridays I double up on hating JVG and Riley. And weekends are definitely full, what with hating Layden, Shandon, Spoon and the gang. Of course Tuesdays are out as I host my weekly Steph Sucks rally at the Garden.

Alright, lets try Monday and Wends. I'll just move Riley to Wends to put him with Lenny and Larry and consider it "I Hate HOF Coaches" day.

Man, it's tough keeping up with the real Knick fans. I didn't know how much hate was required.

That's a good idea with the Wednesday's. It's more time efficient if you group your hating.

We need to organize by era!

Mondays are 80's day. scotty Sterling, Al Bianchi, and pick a variety of players.

Tues are Checketts/Layden day. We start with Layden then realize he was only here for 2.5 years and then lay into Checketts. Riles gets a hour in the afternoon for taking the money and running. Rest of the time we argue over starks greatness.

Weds is a bit lighter. This is Grunfeld/JVG/Spree and Camby day. Mix in some glen rice and luc longly. Take the afternoon off. Thurs is thougher.

Thurs we start with another round of Layden/Chaney appreciation club and then turn dark into the "eyes" era. "Eisley to Isiah". This continues heated into the after noon and we segway into Larry for the afternoon.

Friday is Larry day, all day! But this must also include heavy Dolan, Mills, and Isiah. THere is no Larry without Isiah. Friday afternoons should be Isiah the coach and rotation discussion.

Saturday and sundays are off. We argue over stats and Eddy's ass. Saturday we argue about getting somewhere over the rainbow and under the cap.

Sunday is the special half day of rest.

BUt its special.....

"STARPHUCHING SUNDAY"! This is a day for relaxing and mental masterbation. We talk about Lebron as sa knick, KG as a knick, Wade as a knick. Can't forget foreplay of dream trades scenarios! Those lobsided knick friendly trades that bring Lamar Oh'Dumb for Jaelin and Nate. WE also argue over Nates IQ!

Larry Brown has got to quit already !!
