I know you guys would be down. I hope I can get 20 good managers so we can have a kick ass league.

Joe has a league too. I think he is personally inviting people for his league.

How bout Martin? Martin never joins in on the fantasy fun. Isles fan, fishy, marv.....come on guys sign up! I think you guys are the only ones that haven't played fantasy b-ball with us.

Hope it's cool, but I'm signed up as well.

Not sure if you already mentioned this or not, but you should look at a better draft time. I think it's currently set for 4:00PM EST on a Friday, where usually this is a bad day for lots of people.

Btw- I'm last years K4L fantasy champ and looking forward to repeats! =) GL ALL

here's a question... do any of you bet on basketball? Money lines, over/unders, 3 team parlays.... Cmon, now THATS fun. I did it with baseball all year. Nothing crazy, couple of buck here or there.

Remember, a 3 team parlay pays out 6:1 on even money bets, so if you pick 3 teams to win, parlay them on a $10 bet it pays out $60 ($70 if you count the original bet that you get back).

Its as much a hobby as the fantasy sports, just wondering if anyone else is into it around here.

I had a guy do the superbowl thing with the guessing of the scores, etc. Well the dude collected tons of cash then quit his job and skated out of town!

Another time I was doing a su-su with some co workers and the mofos tried yo short me on my turn. I'm afraid of jail bro but I almost went over that one.

Other words nope, I stay away from gambling with friends or co-workers.

I have 2 league a head to head and a rotiss. league. I am personally inviting the top 10 from last year's league. I will post league info in another day or two. I want the guys that really want to play to make sure they get in before an influx of guys that will quit on their team get in.

no no... you got it wrong, and I'm with you. I dont like money exchanging between friends except in a low stakes poker game.

very professional.. they pay very quickly when you need to take cash out of your account, and your wagers are processed usually with in an hour of the games end.
I was more looking for discussion on if someone else does the same thing. I was blown away by how fun it is and how little money you need to enjoy yourself.

my only knock on fantasy sports is there's too much time commitment. Betting is easier... you can do it whenever.

I guess their are about 7 slots left.

The season doesn't start till November, but I will be e-mailing you guys every week after I get 20 teams. If someone doesn't answer my e-mails I will drop the team the week before the draft and find someone that really wants to play.

I'm tired of finishing 2nd! Hopefully I can stay on top all the way to the championship this time.

Ehh, I don't really agree. It takes maybe 5 or so minutes just to change your roster and to review any free agents that may help your team. Might wanna take an extra 15 minutes one day a week though just to see if you can try to make any useful trades.

My only thing is I get tired of fantasy sports, and I love basketball the most, so I quit doing fantasy football so that I don't get too bored with the basketball.

Envyspree, I would love to join your league, but I think the smaller 10-12 man leagues are a little more fun. I think I'm gonna join my friends league and we're all gonna put like $40 in it.
