He had Luther Campbell as a guest, yes Luther "2 Live Crew" Campbell...Luther doubles as an agent as well and he spoke to SAS about his athletes..He mentioned that Big Snacks is now in his stable and he promises that JJ will be in camp, in shape...This was not provoked by SAS...It caught SAS by surprise...SAS says he didn't believe him and it wouldn't happen...Luther says Big Snacks is currently in Miami working out under his supervision and promises he will be in camp underweight..Guaranteed!!!

Spike Lee called in as well as a guest and spoke about his latest work for HBO, powerful stuff by the way...When the Levee's Broke...At the end of the interview Spike said to SAS, guess What..SAS says what?...Spike said, I spoke to Zeke just the other day, SAS says yeah?...Spike told SAS that Zeke said he is ready...Zeke spoke to everyone and they will be in camp in shape ready for the season.

Boyz I have to say I'm getting excited...I can't wait to see this new refurbished product...Did I say 40 wins....I'm now 45 bid...

Everyone wil be in camp with a chip on their collective shoulders..Even Big Snacks is motivated...I just hope it last all year...

I words were victories we'd be champs.

Im glad your excited.

Every hear?:

"Team fat and sitting at the beach listing to Nascar on the radio drinking Bud all summer and we gonna suck!"

Me neither, but it happended last two years.

They all same the same hype **** every year!

I hope, I will watch, if when it happens I will be happy. But if it don't, hey, more news fodder! MSG is interesting that way at least. Some teams such and don't entertain. Knicks like bad TV.

I respect Luther Campbell as a businessman and pioneer but what does he know about getting an athlete into NBA ready condition. That involves more than just exercising. I hope that when he said "under his supervision" he meant under the supervision of the professional trainer he hired for JJ1.

like Hol said...the question was unprovoked.

I maybe the only person on the Knicks planet that feels that if JJ gets in shape he'll be a heck of player. He has a nice back to the basket game and is aggresive on the board.

It's unprovoked, it's also his client. Duh.

I'm not saying they will be in shape when they come to camp. I'm not saying they will be out of shape when they come to camp. What I'm saying is that I don't give a rats asse about all this talk. Prove it to me on the court, not with your mouth. We've heard the same nonsense for 3 or 4 years now. Enough talk. Until you get it done, you get nothing from the Real fans.

Hey... If the center is all about height, conditioning, and taking up some space just take one of this Russian heavy weight boxers and play them instead of JJ. This will be a real intimidation under the basket
They will probably cost more money zo... But what a show it will be in the Garden...

Ideally jerome james won't be needed for more than 5 minutes a game or so - I'd like to have curry frye and lee rotate at the 4/5. i expect curry to get maybe 30 minutes because of foul problems, but then i'd like to see channing at the 5 and lee at the 4 for about 10-15 minutes per game.

What the HECK are some of you talking about when you say we hear the same thing every year? MANY OF THE KEY PLAYERS ON THIS TEAM HAVEN'T BEEN TOGETHER FOR MORE THAN A YEAR, SO WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Curry? Frye? Lee? Nate? Francis? Jalen? Jared? Balkman? Collins? OH you mean James who came in last year out of shape? from everything we've heard Isiah has spoken to him about coming in fit and ready. James has made statements that he was embarrassed by what he did and would do better and now we hear further that he's going to be in shape. If he's not, then shame on him, but he's not the key to this season. Curry we already KNOW has been working out and the workouts have been supervised and augmented by a Knicks Coach. What else do you want?

Why shouldn't we be pleased to hear these good reports. Don't tell me we heard these things last summer cuz we DIDN'T. I really don't know what you guys are talking about. We knew Curry hadn't been working out all summer. We didn't know James was way out of shape, but we had no reason to believe he was. There was some concern about QRich's health. We didn't really get into Mo's conditioning either. I don't think we were that concerned one way or the other about Mo to begin with. I really don't recall all this talk about the team being in such great shape. We may have been excited about the new additions, but we didn't have so much insight into the offseason progress of all the players.

SO THIS YEAR, we are more concerned and rightfully so. I just think its all good that we're hearing something positive about the team. Do you really think that with this season being SO IMPORTANT that Isiah wouldn't be all over the offseason conditioning of his players? He's not going to be playing around this year, with his job on the line. I can see some of you guys now just WAITING for something negative to happen so you can pounce on it. The 1st losing streak and you guys will be all over it. You must be those guys that go to the Garden and BOO the team for having a bad 1st qtr and then cheer like crazy if they start playing better in the 2nd. Fickle has hell. I HATE THAT CRAP!

Most of these players have been in the league for a while and most have reputations. And most have backed up those reputations. Again, I don't give a rats asse about reports. What do reports mean????? I am not going to get excited over a report. Do it on the court.

JJ is a charector. If any other Knick said he ws working out with this guy they would be hammered. JJ is just goofy, lol. :)
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Fortunately, it looks like most of the Knick players have the good sense not to go down to Miami and follow JJ1's workout routine.

Fine go ahead and take that attitude, but the point i'm making is that we have NO VALID REASON to doubt that most of the players on this team are doing what they're supposed to be doing this offseason. You and some others just CHOOSE for whatever reasons to believe that the reports have to be false and that its more likely that these guys are gonna be out of shape and unprepared. Why do you even follow the team, if you're gonna be THAT negative in your thinking.

I personally don't see a team that we need to be concerned about in terms of effort and being prepared. The KEY players on this team are going to be ready for the season. Curry, Frye, Lee, Jared, Jamal, Nate, QRich, Balkman, Collins, Steph & Francis, I expect to be ready. That's enough for me. If JJ wants to kill his season by coming in out of shape, so be it.

I agree with you until I see it with my own eyes. Not buying into the NYK propaganda this year. We have been doing that for the last 3 years and its been nothing but dissapointment.
