My dream would be for Curry to have a journeyman year and show he's not another Jerome James in the making. That, to me, would be very promising.

Need a lot of guys to have "step forward" years rather than comeback years. Obviously it would be nice to have Marbury and/or Francis have a comeback year, but its more important for a lot of guys to step forward.

Marbury...because the whole team will follow him. If he's playing the right way and has the right attitude (looking to get others involved, high effort on defense, no towell stuff), he can make everyone else much, much better.

Wonna see the Knicks team winning not because of some players but couse of the winning system.
All players should play the way as if any one or more players are injured, have a bad day, or gone for good the team is not breaks down.
So really I want Marbs, Francis, JJ, Mo like players to step "out" and others step up...

It has to be curry, hands down.

Given what was given up for him, it would be nice to think we didn't overpay and we might have a player to build with.

Francis can suck because while he has a huge salary, we didn't give that much to get him.

Marbury can mail in a season, that's what many expect.

I'm hoping to get away from the individual and focus more on team this year.

I agree. While several individuals on this team need to improve their overall games, the biggest thing that needs to happen this year is a significant improvement in team chemistry on offense and defense. If that happens, even if the individual players don't improve, we will still win many more games than we did last year. I think most of last year's losses were due to lack of chemistry rather than lack of talent.

yup. And everyone is to blame. Everyone. When it's a team, everyone is to blame. The chemistry problems weren't marbs' fault. They weren't Stevie's fault. It wasn't LB's fault. It was a team failure. We need to get away from pointing fingers at one person and saying they are the reason for our failures. It must be about team.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

very good point...if that happens, I'd take last year from everyone else (remember lee and frye and crawfords play all year)
