Even if we get Jefferies, Id go back and do that deal. You can use Jefferies at 2-3-4-5. Miles>Q

Where did you get this info? If this is true, Miles for Q is a better deal for us, I think.

Q is anti Marbury.

Anything that reeks of Layden or Brown must go.

Jackie blue, QDog, and Qrich. Qrich stood up to Marbury.

The Isiah-Steph love thing is a beautiful thing and with Q in the way to keep it real it just won't work!

QRich is gonE!

Dairy-Ass fits the misunderstood-overpaid-need father figure-Unerachieve role that Isiah so cherishs.

Whats up with Jeffries? Guess we'll know monday. He has known Isiah since he was 12! WOW!

I also think Q-Rich would be gone. Inmates are definately running the asylum. Or is that Inmatebury?

the only way i want Miles on this team is if POR takes Big Turd off our hands... it's a lopsided deal talent wise, but this team doesn't need any more negative influences, particularly when we already have so many young guys developing & learning how to be NBA players from the likes of Stephon Marbury, Jalen Rose & Steve Francis... let Darius pout all he wants in POR

Based on you logic, wouldn't QWoods also be anti QRich based on his past?

Miles for Q would have been a better move for the Knicks than signing Jeffries outright.

Miles gives you everything Jeffries gives you on the D (plus better shotblocking and slightly better rebounding) and isn't the liability on the Offensive end. Plus, moving Q clears some of the glut at the wing position.

Obviously, trading for Miles would have been a PR nightmare.....

"MILES AHEAD?: The Washington Wizards have until Monday to match the Knicks' offer to forward Jared Jeffries. If Jeffries returns to Washington, Thomas may turn his attention back to Portland's Darius Miles. According to sources, the Knicks were close to acquiring Miles last week in a trade for Quentin Richardson but instead opted for Jeffries."

& he'd give you all the headaches that this team doesn't need more of... if going after the superior talented player was the only thing that mattered, we might as well have held onto Tim Thomas... he's a better player than Jefferies too.

on top of it, losing butler and frye injured? curry sometimes an injury question, you can probably move jefferies to 4 or 5 miles can go 3-4 in up tempo q is to small/ not fast enough and doesnt compensate with his skills

Yeah but we traded him for our franchise player. Better than anyone in this years + next years draft, remember?

If we get Dairy-Ass, what overpaid brain dead players in the NBA are left for us to acquire?

my God, look at our roster the last few years?

Nalod, when you come back to reality. Just answer me this when did Butler or Q Woods stand up to Marbury. Q Woods actually blasted Coach Brown. Only Richardson, who would be a goner because his back is like brittle candy. Butler was signed to ridculous deal for a player with his limited experience. The only player I am unsure is Q Woods, he is not one of Thomas favorites because of his mistreatment of dogs.

Tim Thomas isn't nearly the defensive player that Miles or Jeffries is for that matter. My arguement is that Miles is just as good as Jeffries is defensively and wont be a liablity on Offense as Jeffries is going to be for us. I can see Jeffries man sagging off of him to crowd Curry in the post. This wouldn' happen with Miles for the most part.
