Telling Isiah he doesn't want to be here!! I feel that he will play for Zeke. The only way he gets traded is something good comes along or he tells Zeke he doesn't want to be here!! If Marbs and Stevie can play together, I see another Frazier/Monroe kind of thing or maybe more like the Ray Williams/Michael Ray Richardson
tandem......by the way the Frazier/Monroe reference is not a comparion of talent but of the headache it could cause other teams. I may be one of the few that want Francis here....if he's ready to play ball!!

In the system that Isiah plans to run, it might be possible for Steph and Francis to play together. The problem is going to be defense b/c neither one is a great defensive player and one or the other will be giving up 4-5 inches to opposing shooting guards every night. Isiah is going to play Francis b/c: 1) he has to get his trade value up, 2) Francis is too talented to sit, and 3) Francis will become a distraction if he does not get his PT. As long as he is getting his PT, Francis will not have any problem playing for Isiah. However, I seriously doubt that Francis will be on the team after the trade deadline unless the Steph/Francis backcourt works out better than anyone expects.

There will likely be a honeymoon. The question is how long it lasts.

today's game is very different and our lack of size will be exploited.

Look at the teams that went deep into the playoffs, they weren't small.

Back When Frazier/Monroe played and even Williams/Sugar Ray, the shooting guards were alot smaller than they are today.

I think its something that can work for stretches at a time, But during crunch-time with the game on the line....they might get exploited.

When the Knicks have a player like Dwayne Wade, I'll have no problem with him being a short SG, fact is the Knicks have no one even comparable to Dwayne Wade, not even close.

Thankyou....Wade is one of the top 10 players in the league. He plays like he's 6'6

Which Williams are you talking about?

Some of the players I mentioned are capable or swinging backl and forth, but for the most part play the 2. Pierce moved to the 2 when Wally joined the celts. When Davis was a celt he played the 2. TMac swings back and forth but now with Battier, Tmac will most likely play 2 (FYI Battier is 6'8) When Iggy is on the game with Korver, he might guard the 3's aswell.

The thing is that they will have a hard time guarding OUR Guards this year with the better floor spacing and with our guards constantly on the attack. Our guards will be able to hold their own against these other teams. We also have players on this team who can matchup size wise in QRich, Balkman and Collins. If we find that we need to slow down the other teams big guard for a while we do have options. My view of the Knicks is like that of the Suns. Play just enough D to win, but let your offense be the dominant part of the team. It can work. The only things that stopped the Suns is not having any of their key bigs.

Sure we won't LOOK like the Suns cuz we don't have the same personnel. Our offensive scheme will be different from there's, however we will be an offensive team like they are. Its our Strength so we have to go with it.

I'm with you nixluva, I believe this will be an exciting team. Every team faces some matchup problems. The Knicks will have a few and cause a few!!
