Just an alternative for a balanced, "objective" and unbiased treatment

and curious about the tenor of response

Best move? Getting himself hired. Second best move: Not getting himself fired.

05 draft class by a landslide. I'd even say the entire 05 draft day of getting qrich for kurt (they play the same defense).

I going to go out on a limb and say that last year's summer is what will solidify isiah's legacy good or bad.

I think it will be the egg that is on everybodies face when that summer's acquisitions lead the knicks to wherever good feelings are bestowed on them by the true fans of the knicks through thick and thin.

frye, nate, lee, qrich, curry.
all kool aid all the time.

can you clarify what you mean by "true fans of the knicks through thick and thin"? I want the Knicks to succeed but I do critique moves that they make. Does that put me on the not-a-true-knicks-fan list? It's like the whole if you speak out against the Iraq policy you automatically don't support the troops and you aren't a very patriotic person bull.

I think I'm not a tried and true Knicks fan as I am unhappy with 5 years of losing followed by a GM making promises of rebuilding on one hand while on the other hand aquiring players with long term veteran deals and signing a 30 year old fat center for 5 years.

Aside from that I am excited about
Mardy Collins: playing behind Francis, Marbury, Crawford, Nate Robinson
Jackie Butler: looking to leave the team

I would have to say my winner is the 05 draft class, which yielded 3 stars for us.

Agree 100%

Isiah's lone good move was drafting Channing Frye at 8 and Lee at 30. I still can't say the Nate Robinson move was that great because it also brought Q Richardson who at this point makes the trade moot and maybe even a loss.

No Martin if you play devils advocate and don't agree with RV, Killa or Earl you are immediately not called a Knicks fan anymore and don't know anything basketball.

Isiah's best move is yet to come, as we resign Jalen Rose for max, and then proceed to blame it on Larry Brown. :D
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Best move was convincing Houston to retire and then using the CBA "Houston Rule" on Jerome Williams. That may be the only reason why he is still here and LB isn't.

Hmm, but we took the "savings" and wasted almost all of it on the Larry Brown fiasco, then went well over by getting Francis and Rose. The only thing that Houston move did was lessen the blow of the moves that followed.

Also, do we know that it was *Isiah* who convinced Houston to retire?
