he'd be a good fit on many teams, but not the knicks.

i love his offense & off the ball movements, but he's not a decent defender, not athletic, nor strong. We need play making, defense, and shot blocking.

I'd rahter we go with sefolosha, sene, rodriguez, etc.

I wouldn't be mad if the Knicks took Reddick, but I would be mad if they took Reddick and there was a more athletic sharpshooter available.

No thanks to JJ. I've seen enough of him to realize his offensive mantra isn't going to work in the NBA due to him being not athletic enough and not have the overall game to overcome being less athletic then others.

ABSOLUTELY.

He is a perfect fit. We need shooters, but more importantly, we need character, work ethic, grit & determination.

No......another undersized, no defense offense only PG/SG tweener? except this one has a problem getting his shot off by himself and can't drive?

He's an offensive guy, but he is NOT underszied-- hes a legit 6-5 he has a tremendous individual skill set, INCLUDINg the ability to get to the FT line where he is a weapon on par with steve nash and Ray Allen. He comes from a system where defense and team play is emphasized so that is already grilled into him. This is a guy who has dominated at Duke--really his whole career and then they rode him his senior year to exhaustion. Maybe he's to white--you know he cant jump and all that for some people

Briggs, I guess I'll take your word for it, but he doesn't look anywhere close to 6-5 in the games I have seen (which granted are very few). I guess I fall into the stereotyping of him-NOT because he is white-but because he is primarily known as a jumpshooter who is slow.

On a side note I think I figured out who you are....May I presnt Mr. Dickie Vitale!

He's been a tad under-rated imho. Josh Howard and Carlos Boozer were also ACC MVPs and were completely discounted in the draft--they turned out OK. This is a guy who fell apart from exhaustion late in the year--but still shot 47% from the field and his efg was off the charts---he uses his his high IQ to create space and get people to foul him, very much like steve nash. Guys like Marcus Williams and JJ redick--they get killed for doing badly in athletic tests, but to me these are two guys who would make immediate----important impacts wherever they go[if healthy]

The biggest question now is whether Redick’s transgression will affect his draft position. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard, who was named National Player of the Year last season after averaging 26.8 points as a senior, has long been considered an NBA lottery pick, a deadly long-range shooter with the potential to hang around the league for more than a decade.

Briggs are you sure he is 6-5?

All the guys you mentioned had physical attributes that helped them succeed on this level. Nash and his speed, Boozer and his strength, Josh and his overall package...JJ has none of that, IMO.

Sene 6-11 bare footed, 7ft in shoes with 7-8.5 wingspan and 9-5 standing reach. Athletic, hard-working guy with incredible upside.

Imagine young Mutombo playing next to Frye.

Then bring back Ewing to coach Sene, Frye, Curry, and Butler.

the surprise to me was the wingspan, a T-Rex 6'3" reach.

The new realgm mock has sene falling to us at 20 and us taking him and Shawne Williams at 29...Basically it said Isiah has too many players now and that he should draft projects and let them develop in the NBDL.

I think regardless of need, you can't overlook best talent- worry about trading him later if need be- not saying to pick him, but you can't discount just because he is offensive minded and we need defense-
