the pacers fans had mostly good things to say about IT as a coach. and I had no idea philly fans were so desperate to trade cwebb.

Im listening to Screamin A. right now and he said that his sources have said Eddy lost 25 pounds during the season but then gained it back only because Larry Brown yelled at him so much. He sounds like he believes it. Tierney(which is the reason I listen to the show) is saying he saw him at a Mets game(I think in June, I may have misheard the date) and he looked like he gained 25 punds.

A few years ago, I created the Antoine Walker All-Stars. The team was composed of talented players who were so clueless about basketball that they killed their team. In fact, I believe a talented player like Walker is worse than a non-factor like, say, Eric Snow.

Anyway, the AW All-Stars had this lineup:

Stephan Marbury
Steve Francis
Jalen Rose
Antoine Walker
Eddy Curry

Coach: Isiah Thomas

At that point, the only player on the Knicks was Marbury. But slowly, piece by piece, the team has been assembled like Captain Planet.

Today, I am proud to annouce another step towards the impossible dream. The only logical conclusion is that the Knicks will trade for Walker in the offseason.

I also argued that that team would go 0-82. So I might have to eat my words. I never thought this would actually be possible.

So please, Isiah: trade for Antoine. The Antoine Walker All-Stars is your destiny. Follow the advice of your buddy Spike Lee and Do The Right Thing."

I like it because I want Dolan to hear the people and to make him realize that he does need David Sterns help in turning this franchise around. Dolan's way isn't working and the whole world knows it and to a billionaire, that is the worst thing, NEGATIVE PRESS.

they aren't from new york, i never read another team's fan board postings when we were battling the bulls with Ewing...they were irrelevant then and are just plain funny now.

J-Williams and A.Walker both have an NBA championship. If they can win won anyone can all matters the situation and the role.

If Francis & Marbury & Rose were making 5-6mil a yr and played a role that fit there strengths instead of being the face of teams then they would find success.

Eddie Curry did so the yr before with the Bulls. He wasn't the go to guy on offense or the face of the franchise. He was just put in position of strength and wasn't forced to be anymore than what he was. Made him look good then got possibly 2 lottery picks for him.

Memphis would be perfect for Marbury right now. effiecent 2 shooters like Mike Miller & Battier with a pick and roll allstar like Gasol. It would be a nice fit.

yeah, but it does apply to us as well.

marbs "talent" would fit well with memphis, clips, indy, and a few other teams. but his "baggage" may prevent those teams from pursuing him.
