Will Marbury and Francis (finally) play together in the backcourt?
Will he deal both picks for another veteran?
Will expiring contracts (Rose, Taylor) get dealt for more vets?
If the Knicks really think they have some talented pieces, we'd have to imagine that Francis and Marbury will both stay, Frye is obviously here to stay, I'd imagine Curry and Lee as well. I like Crawford as 6th man off the bench (and finishing games since Marbury is inept in the 4th) but I can see Nate being expendable, which I really don't have a problem with since the Knicks have 9,000 guards. I don't think any team is dumb enough to take QRich and his bad back for the next 5 years, so he's probably here to stay. Will room be made for more PT for Butler (get rid of Mo T, get rid of Malik?)
What does Isiah taking over the team mean for the roster, who will get minutes, anyone have any thoughts?

Get ready for every single overpaid player in the NBA to join the Knicks. Isiah is going to be protecting his job and he'll do so by getting any guy that will help this team. That's usually fine and dandy but we all know what kind of players that Isiah likes and those are primadonas and players that have not worked out well for other teams.
Get ready for a bunch more malcontents added to this roster. Get ready to see rebuilding as far away as Pluto.

No doubt in my mind that we're trading the picks, now that Isiah is coach. He'll want to add another piece or two and try to win asap.
By the end of this season, the picks, Steve Francis, Mo Taylor and Jalen Rose will all be traded. For whom, we don't know ... but I'm sure it will be another "athletic" player.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I don't think Al Harrington is necessarily bad, to get 19 and 7 from your SF starter every night is great, plus he's from NJ.
But, how will Isiah get fleeced this time? Will it be both #1's and Crawford for Harrington? I can't really see Atlanta liking much else on the Knicks roster.
If either of the degenerate Trailblazers are on this team (Miles or Randolph) I'm not going to watch a single Knicks game next year. I'll get the NBA package without Knicks games.

Depends on how desperate Isiah is I guess. Maybe Mo, Lee and 29th (dare I say both picks?)
I would think the length of Crawfords contract might be a turnoff for Atl, but ya never know.

It will be Rose and future 2nd rd pick for a signed Harrington
It's a thought, but I doubt it. Jalens contract runs an extra year, plus that would make the price tag on Harrington way overpriced. He'd need close to a max-type deal to make that work, correct? I honestly think we'd lose Lee or Nate in any deal involving a starter coming to us.

harrington is an unrestricted free agent. atlanta has ZERO incentive to trade him to us unless they get something of real value in return. so mo taylor can be used but he will have to be paired with at least one of our young guys or picks. and since al is a free agent, it can't be picks in this draft so it has to be future picks.

Jalen's contract expires after the upcoming season... as for Harrington, i'd venture to guess he'll get a contract around the same level that RJ got in NJ
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Good call TMS, you're right about Jalen
That's exactly what I was thinking in terms of starting salary though.. About 10 mil, give or take
