How come this isn't a front page big deal?

The missle is supposed to be strong enough to reach the west coast of the united states.

Japan is supposed to be worried about it too. In fact Japan and us will join forces in retaliation if north Korea decides to go through with it.

North Korea already threatened the is that it would lanch a nuclear attack on the us if they even thought about doing what they are doing to Iraq.

How gangsta is this?

The united states are already wasting time money and serious man power on Iraq. If north Korea decides to get medievil we will be in some serious doo doo.

It is a big deal...The markets are reacting off that stuff...The US has activated it's untested defense shield...S. Korea and Japan has announce they has sided with the US to stops this test..It's cloudy over N. Korea last few days, so everyone is expecting a test when the weather clears..Forecast says it clears Wednesday morning there time, Tuesday nite our time...

it's not as if the US wouldn't threaten Nuclear holocaust on any nation that would dare to invade them as well... this is just N Korea making a power play to milk more worldwide financial aid through the only means they can gain any type of leverage, & that's through this veiled nuclear threat to Western nations... there's no way they would ever launch a nuclear attack on the US unless Bush tried to pull another Operation Iraq Freedom on them.

obviously it's a serious issue we're talking about here no doubt... several other potential dangerous nations also have nuclear capabilities, including China & i think Iran... & there's also that volatile situation going on between Pakistan & India, both of whom have nuclear arms, do they not? this is a dangerous world we live in bros.

I think we all better hope north Korea doesn't do anything. I had a dream about this ****. Korea aint playing and it doesn't help that everyone hates Americans.the united states has never been attacked on the main land. I bet some of these countries are waiting for something to happen so they can kick us while we are down.

I know the North Koreans cheated on their deal with the Clinton Administration, but I still prefer the Clinton Administrations policy of engagement with North Korea. So far, Bush has not improved the situation with North Korea by "getting tough".

I undertand your concern as Bush has made every situation we face worse with his policies. I know you have children, so you're probably worried about the future. However, this is a situation we don't control, so worrying about it doesn't help anything.

The North Koreans are not widely loved either. The situation inside that country is not good. I believe they want to negotiate directly with the U.S., and I view their actions in that light. They are saying there is a consequence to not negotiating with them. I don't think backing them into a corner with no way out would be a good idea.
