all the momentum is miami's way.

detroit is confused and starting to look a little desperate.

they are making too many stupid mistakes. and rasheed is PLANTED at the 3 point line.

they really need lb. their discipline is gone.

djsunyc, I was never really a huge fan of raweed. Good defender, but I can't stand how he's in love with that 3 pt shot even when it's not falling, and his best and only post move is a nice turnaround J. This is starting to have Isiah Thomas written all over it.

That turnaround low post move is ungaurdable because he has such a high release. He should use that move at least ten times as often as he does. You're right that all he does now is hang around the 3 point line and sometimes dunk. He's a better version of Tim Thomas on offense.

Didn't it take the Pistons 7 games and injuries to both Shaq and Wade to beat the Heat last year with Jones as the SG. The Heat upgraded their team and you still want to bitch about Brown. A typical Brown team wouldn't probably make the playoffs. See his career, I think most of his teams start to tune him out around this time and it is time for the Nomad to move on.

Whenever you see people talking about Detroit not being as good this year...It's always a back door plug for LB, I just wonder if LB was so great, what happened to the Knicks this year...

Throughout Brown's career his teams has always been sporadic. It has been the major knock on him. Normally bad his first year, team starts to play Brown's "right way", then by the 3rd or 4th year depending on the indiviuals on the team, they are worst in these years. Brown has acknowledge this. Sixers, Pacers, Nuggets, Nets and Clippers.

Yep, the Pistons sure could use a coach who starts negotiating a job with another team (the Cavs) in the middle of the fricken playoffs, right about now!

Don't forget last year all those Larry Brown taking a cavs management job stories were a major distraction for the Pistons, one which a lot of people were blaming for their poor performance against the Heat last year.

However good Larry used to be, over the last few years he's become weird- i don't know if its his ego that became enlarged after the title, or if he's just not as sharp as he used to be, but he seems to put a heck of a lot more time and effort into bizarre mind games, ego trips and power plays than he does coaching x's an o's.

Flip was a bad choice of replacement though- his response to the Pistons recent struggles was 'we need to get back to having fun again' or something!

It's easy to look lost when you're facing superior teams to what you faced the previous year. I bet whoever wins the title this year would have looked completely lost playing against JOrdan's teams or Magic's or Bird's. Looking lost is completely relative to the level of your competition.

Your point? With a mature Lebron, Cleveland's better than the Heat last year with severe injuries to BOTH Wade and Shaq. When Wade and Shaq are each playing at about 60% like last year, the Heat are simply not that good a team.

Sheed hurt himself in Game 4 vs. CLE. Rip Hamilton hurt himself in the first round. it's limited them both. do you remember Rip earlier this season? he was unguardable off that screen and curl play. he's clearly playing hurt. so now instead of a Rip/Sheed/Ben/Tayshun/Chauncey its Chauncey/Tayshun/Ben/Dyess.

last year Detroit was completely healthy in the Eastern Finals and Wade and Shaq were banged up. And the series still went 7. so now that Wade is healthy and the Pistons have some injury/bumps & bruises you're surprised that the Heat are winning the close games they lost last time?

I'm not sure if you are kidding or not, but it looks to me like they could use another big body in Darko out there.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Bonn, I'd agree with that, but to be a real good post player, you'd need a wider arsenal of that. That's why I never really considered Sheed a particularly great post player. It's the only move he does. Hell of a move, but if he always did it, people would catch on. But then again, he rarely does it anyway, and never did do it a lot.
