depending on

* how much money they are willing to spend

* and how much belief they have in Terry Stotts

they might be interested

Ford is a brilliant set-up man but he is not a very good scorer and stotts is one of those coaches who wants his pg to score.

I'm thinking maybe a 3 or 4 team deal in which

Steph is dealt to Milwaukee

Ford Magloire and a resigned Toni Kukoc to Toronto

Eric Williams Alvin Williams and Joey Graham to NY

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

Why do we get junk? I'd rather Ford to NY.

so basically trade marbury for a rookie that "got better" as the season went on, who was the third best rookie on his team? hmm. and eric williams who is done and alvin who is done with a long contract. no thanks man,

you trade Steph to remove a cancer.

Graham is a good prospect at the 3.

E Williams is an ending contract.

A Williams has this and next year left and he might possibly retire. If he doesn't he is a good vet for the young guys to be around for a year or so.

what do you expect Marbury's worth to be. It's no more than say Baron Davis' and look what he was dealt for. Baron's physical codition is manageable. Steph is a legitimate headcase.

The Bucks aren't replacing a young, dynamic, ego-less, unselfish & relatively unselfish point guard for the diametric opposite in Marbury....especially in that he'd take shots away from Redd. This team will be better just by the growth of TJ, Redd, Bugut. They're not going to ruin it by adding Marbury & his antics. Come on guys...THINK.

yeah, i'm with Case on this one... if MIL is interested in Marbs, i'd much rather get Magloire, Ford & Kukoc back in the package, but i don't see why MIL would do it.

Its an absurd thought. You guys might as well fanatsize about Milwaukee throwing in Redd.

only desperate franchises with a superstar in place can handle an acquisition of steph. there has to be another big name guy in place otherwise steph as your best player has nothing but trouble written all over it.

the suspects: memphis, miami, houston, lakers, minny

outside shot being atlanta b/c of the ticket sales...but with joe johnson there, i don't think he advocates a steph reunion.

the BEST deal for steph is to miami for jwill and posey (2 years s&t). it's a salary dump.

a pipe dream deal is to memphis for battier + wright (2 years s&t)...but again, it's a pipe dream.

i was looking at milwaukee before but i don't see them going this route. i think they stick with tj.

I also think Denver is a possibility in a blockbuster (depending on a> who replaces Kiki & b> what direction that GM takes). In other words, if we consented to Kenyon Martin, I'd like to get Andre Miller out of the deal.

Something like:

Martin
Miller

for

Marbury
Mo T

and whatever salary fill players make that deal work under NBA rules.

That's a true sh!t for crap (KMart for Marb-wire) deal that exits both players from irreparable situations & still has upside for both sides.

F' Martin. I agree that Denver is a team that could use Marbury on their squad, but there are other fish I'd like to be frying for him, and Kenyon isn't one of them. I bet they are ready to tear that franchise down, with Kiki out.

Michael Redd can't carry a team but so far. He is a jumpshooter and halfway decent penetrator. You can run an offense through him like you could for a Kobe

saying they'd be better with the growth of TJ is kind of a hollow statement. If a guy who is asked to be the coach on the floor style of play doesn't fit what the coach is trying to run there will be no real growth.

How about Marbs, Frye and Lee for Tracy McGrady and Stromile Swift. It works moneywise. Van Gundy always loved Steph. And by now, I think he has had it with TMac. Thoughts?
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I would do it today.
T Mac is one of the top ten in the league when healthy.
He is less of a risk than Kenyon Martin, and much better.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.
