I just got back to the states...man oh man...did my eyes really see what they saw last night?

NBA TV Broadband and yahoo sports and for that matter ultimateknicks really have a way of sugar coating the current state of this team.

Stats are not the entire story...but...

Apologies to all that have been put off by my BLIND love of my beloved knicks.

I still love the knicks, but I don't think there is anything to defend.

hey, I'll never admit that, because i still don't fault Zeke. I mean, looking at this team, there is no way you could have imagined them sucking this bad.

So, you did win in knowing they would suck...but I can't agree with the zeke bashing...yet.

I just don't know what the heck it is...I mean, charlotte is a 5th year college team.

Let this be a lesson!!! There is a difference between hate and a desperate need for change. And that need is desperate indeed. What your seeing now is what happens when pro athletes quit. Its the worst in basketball. In baseball the pitcher still wants to win. In the NFL every game is an event. But these guys know they are done, they are getting paid, and they dont care. Ouch. I think what irks me the most is how Marbury has quit. When you look at how Isiah has protected him and coddled him quiting on the coach is the same as quitting on Isiah. Pretty sad. I wanted Marbury to succeed here but his personality is exposed.

Amazing how we actually miss Deke, Kurt Thomas and Othella Harrington.

yeah, I'm just shocked...it's like, why are there teams with the same type of athletes winning? Sacramento, Dallas, etc.

I mean, when the dallas put the defensive minded coach in place, he didn't change the entire team philosophy, just added defense to it and it's paying off.

I'm just wondering how this could have blown up in everyone's faces so much.

Well, I've seen it happen with my football team, and we don't get paid.

i'm happy this is all being exposed... now Dolan knows that he can't just keep accumulating talent to win games... he also has to get the right type of hard working players... other than the kids & 1 or 2 veterans, everyone else on this team is a bunch of gutless quitters... time for Isiah to finally clean house this summer.

No it's time for Isiah to be fired so that a capable GM can come in and clean house. Not this idiot. Why would anybody still have any confidence that Isiah is the right person to fix the mess that he's created?

whoever's in charge, it's time to clean house... i don't care if it's LB, Isiah, Dolan, Layden, or some other shlub they drag off the street.

Why wouldn't you care who fixes this mess? Why wouldn't you want someone who is more qualified than the person who created the mess?

Isles, I agree with you about Isiah fully. Your hatred for the man took a little bit to get to me but it finally has, as of a few weeks ago. I'm curious what your thoughts on Brown are? I think most people here know that I'm extremely pro-Brown, right in the same boat as Fish but what are your thoughts on LB?

Its almost not even fare to argue about IT at this point. I mean, is there anything left to say? Lets not beat the dead horse.

I'm not even that pro Brown just for the record. In a lot of ways what he's done is pretty slimey himself this year, but I understand his motives skewed as they are. He's certainly been a dick and had his share of being outright unproffesional, but he's the one guy, and the only guy in this org that has half a clue how to succeed in this league. Isiah doesnt, Mills doesnt, Dolan doesnt and most of the players he brought in dont either. Only Larry. Now like LB or not the numbers and history doesnt lie. He keeps saying and coaching the same things and the players keep failing.

Get a Kiki, Walsh, Nelson, whoever... anyone thats demonstrated ability to build a team and make shrewd trades. This thing can turn around in a year or 18 months if you get some guys willing to work and buy into a system

I dont' care about LB. I don't like him or dislike him. He's just another man I've never met. But he is a proven winner and that's what I care about. If you fire him and leave this team standing then I have to finally ask "what the hell is going on".
I just hope that people will like me
