you know, when they shove channing frye to the bench and hide him--then they talk about other PFs play Malik rose Mo taylor et al big minutes when we were done anyway, it give syou the feeling that LB doesnt want frye.

the correct thing to do right now is leave Frye and Curry in for 35 minutes

backed up by Lee Butler and James

no more malik roses no more mo taylors----id like to see frye put his time in even if he has some bad games we havent done that and that has hurt his confidence and taken away valuable PT

I dont want to trade Frye if they are going to commit to using him, but seeing him sit on the bench and playing for 8 minutes is a waste.

this is going to be a 2-3 process we still nee and INFUSION of toughness and defense and POSSIBLY a pure 1 this team still has a LONG way to go and I dont want to take anymore shortcuts

one more infusion of athletic tough youth build the core keep them together.

almost everytime they start Frye, he comes up w/a big game... shame he had to get injured today on that freak play... now he'll likely land on the IR... hopefully this means more playing time for David Lee & Jackie Butler at least.

That play scarred this shizat out of me, but yeah, Frye was playing really good, and pretty good defense, but still needed work. He kept Bosh in check.

When he was in the Rookie of the Year running, why on god's green earth did Brown cut his minutes. Brown has an agenda, true primadonna. With playing time you gain confidence, this is the reason Frye has been off recently, he gets wishy washy minutes. The second quarter of games why isn't he in there? He will have a few good minutes then you don't see him for good while. Rookie wall my ass.

ariza dnp last year.
sweetney started but only played 20 mins a night.

when has this organization seriously committed to the youth movement?

it looks like this year it happened out of necessity. and if indy or minny come-a-calling to dump jermaine or kg, say goodbye to frye, lee, nate and whatever else they want.

Yeah, because Mo Taylor etc. really improve our team D. Once we realized the team sucked, and that should've been very early on, the team needed to develop the youth. He's not gonna get better on D without actually playing. What good is playing marginal D and not winning ballgames without developing your youth?

Yes he did Bosh had to work harder for his shot earlier in the game and then Frye sat for most of the second quarter this is when Bosh got into his groove.

I was watching the rewind, and Bosh didn't start to really get anything going on Frye until the end of the 3rd quarter, but Frye was also scoring at this time. Frye was having a very good game until that incident.

This team has horrible luck. Any word on QRich status. The Knicks are down on players right now. Unless Mo is getting activated tonight. Lee should get the nod. Man sometimes you can never had enough bodies.

You guys are funny. All our guys are developing and yet we still think LB is mismanaging them. The cool thing is our guys have developed mentally quicker in 6 months than guys like Kwame Brown, Darius Miles, Stevie Francis, Stephon Marbury have in their entire careers. Qdog was beating dogs a year ago. Now he is diving for loose balls. Minutes is not the answer to development. TEaching lessons is. Their minutes will come.

This happens to me all the time. I have a new guy come in who is phenomenal. I know he's going to be a star. His first two years in my system I have to brow beat, play games and take minutes away to destroy the bad habits he has developed from years of coddling. Even when he earns minutes I have to take them away because I constantly see these bad habits creeping back. The fans call me an idiot. Then 2 years later when the habits have been eradicated I put him in the game and unleash him. He does everything I say for two years and gets a scholarship somehwere. The fans say wow, Bip finally figured it out. I just smile. What they don't understand is that I have developed kids before. I know what I'm doing. If that kid went the the local school he would have been a 4 year coddled superstar playing his last organized basketball game upon graduation.

If you are good your minutes wil be there. But sometimes you have to be what NYer's aren't. PATIENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their time will come and all these guys will improve faster than Kwame and Darius and Stevie and Marbs. You guys at that point can say I told you so. And Larry will just smile.

All that time on the bench and Channing played his best D ever last night. There is a reason for that. HE IS IMPROVING!!!!

Anyone notice how often Curry has been benched lately. Anyone else notice an effort level increase, better rebounding more activity on defense and better passing out of the double team. He was handed minutes for 5 years. Now he's finally learning.

Yes because it has worked so well for Brown in the past. Could you please tell me what rookie has Brown benched and allowed to develop? I am very curious? He is known as such a great developer too.
At least he doesn't have to worry about Frye stealing minutes from Malik.
