I would say Bobcats in a land slide. theyve played most of the season without Ok4 and May. They are better at most every position and have a better bench--with 1/4 of the payroll

Okafor is always injured. They can't depend on him. I'd pick the Bobcats because they have their draft picks this year and next year unlike us but both organizations are awful.

The Bobcats are not a horrible organization. When OKR gets healthy, and they youngin's start to learn, you'll see them start to make some noise. I think they are handling the OK$ situation very very carefully, unlike a certain Knicks team with Antonio McDyess and Allan Houston.

Okafor was rookie of the year last year.

Blew out his ankle this year.

Roster vs. Team.

we have the roster, but we are not a team. Jsut a collections of contracts.

i said it all year long... give me Brevin Knight over Earl Watson or any of those other PG's we've been talking about on this board... the guy is a leader, he knows how to play good, fundamental ball, & he's a guy who LB would love... another guy i've always liked since his days as a Laker is Jumaine Jones... hits the 3, athletic, runs the floor, plays good d... if Q Woods isn't re-signed, i say go after JJ w/the LLE & see if he'll take it.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

The Bobcats have had the luxury of very high draft picks. And somewhat of a good drafting measure -- although it can be suspect under analysis.

But i think i wouldn't mind being in the Bobcats situation because there is absolutely NO pressure, as of yet.

The truth is, we have better "talent". No doubt about that. But they have better "personnel".

p.s. i do understand how everyone won't get what i just said.

Felton outplayed all our guards. He's a F#kin rookie. Our guards have to work. You have to think these guys don't work as hard, in practice, in the off-season. That's what it comes down too.. get your contract, lose your hunger. Most of the guys we rely on for execution are really talented but damaged in one way or another.

I'd trade anyone except Frye for Gerald Wallace. And even that was a tough call for me.

raymond felton, gerald wallace, may, and okafor - they need a 3 and they will have a top 3 pick in a draft that is deep at the 3- morrison, gay, carney. they have solid veterans too like brevin knight and they have a ton of cap room. I'd take their team over ours any day.

why is it when people want to compare talent, everyone seems to bring up "payroll" that is becomming so tiring, either you believe the talent is better or not, damn the payroll for a minute. Kobe makes 3 times as much as lebron, does that make Lebron better? by a landslide?

hearing payroll come up everytime we compare players is just as tiring as those old "knock, Knock" Jokes...

it's pretty obvious - the more your payroll, the less flexibility you have to sign players and make trades. So the fact that the bobcats have a lot of young talent AND a low payroll means that they have a brighter future than us.
