malik has played well, but im sure they know he isnt the key dog and Frye-man seems better off the bench until his legs get much stronger

no to kenyon

4 possibilities

Boozer for Taylor Lee and picks
Sheldan Williams for Lee and picks
Keep everything--use picks on Josh Boone and Shannon Brown for example, let Lee and Frye have bigger roles next year.
Keep eye on Chris Wilcox for mLE
Must get Lee and Frye stronger even if they dont gain weight.

Why? And even next year?

this is the reason they give:

LAST = Last Non-Exercisable Year. Players in the last non-exercisable year of their contract cannot be traded after the trade deadline when teams can once again trade players after their season is over

Olowakandi has this next to his name as well.

will watch and see if this changes after seasons end

Hell no to Boozer... you want to give up Lee and picks for Boozer?

He's another overrated guy who can't play defense. Do we not see that we need to bring in some defensive players?

I hate Boozeer... got no
I like Wilcox a lot but I will pass for the same reason I dont want Odom. I dont think his personality is strong enough

To me its Reggie Evans, no ifs ands or butts. He's an elite rebounder and tough guy that doesnt need a lot of minutes to be great and when given a lot of minutes puts up good numbers. He's the tough blue collar guy that will make Curry/Frye better playing next to them.

Of the guys available, I tend to agree. Pull in Evans and now we're talking.

I like both Evans and Wilcox, but both are young enough and good enough to be starters in this league, imo...If we are truly committed to Frye, we shouldn't get either of them unless they are willing to come off the bench.

i disagree w/u guys... i say use the MLE on a PG (Mike James), & get Marbury on the 1st bus out of town in the offseason... in fact, if i have to trade Marbury to DEN to get KMart & their future pick, i do that too, because even if KMart doesn't play much, we have enough depth at the PF position anyway... i'm more interested in improving overall team chemistry, getting the added pick, improving the perimeter D & have Francis starting at SG next season.

I'd rather Lee get stronger and have him eventually take over the role Malik is playing right now. Rotate in Frye and Butler at the 4 as well.

Evans is ok...I think he'd work in a rotational system, but I'm just not sure I'm ready to give him my full MLE. There's a player in college bball by the name of Paul Milsap who can play this role for us. He's a junior right now, but he may come out for this draft and be avaible in the late first round. And let me tell you, this guy is an absolutely ferocious rebounder. He led the nation in rebounding his freshman and sophomore years, and is well on his way to leading the nation again this year, averaging a terrific 13.5 this year.

Getting a guy like this, who might even have more upside than Evans, is a much more cost effective option.

whats the deal with killing Odom, the guy is one of the top 5 best all around players in the NBA, I would trade Marbury with our SA #1 for him in heartbeat, might even include David Lee

Marbury does not move the ball i like what i see from francis

Odom is like Marbury...he needs a better superstar to be a super star. We don't have a better superstar.

Is that really true? Odom played his best on Miami where he was the top option. He had Wade there, but Wade was still a rook. He's not exactly playing his best game with Kobe Bryant, who in some people's eyes is the best superstar.

Odom is a really nice complimentary player who can do a lot of things to help a team win. Question is, do you bring him here to play like a star or a role player. That needs to be established, or he'll get lost.

I think Odom plays his best as a role player, piece of the puzzle. Alot of guys have problems playing with Kobe, so I sort of take that for what it is worth. In Miami, Odom was top option but he more got guys involved and by the end of the season it sort of was Wade's team.

funny over-exaggeration take on Odom MS... it's funny how some people go crazy over this guy... i just don't see what the big deal is... he's a pretty nice player w/the talent to be VERY good, but if he hasn't gotten to that level by now, he never will.

as for Marbury, i disagree... i happen to think he moves the ball alot better than Francis... he's a way better passer & orchestrator, but the problem i have w/him is his personality & penchant to destroy team chemistry... Francis is a better team guy from that aspect, & i'd like to see him playing the SG next season w/a defensive minded PG who doesn't have the personality issues that Steph has.

I want our bigs to stay the same and draft either Hilton Armstrong or Boone. We are fine at the 4. We need to unclog the guard situation. Crawford, Nate and/or Marbury should be gone. I would also trade Curry in the right deal. A sign and trade with Atlanta for Al Harrington + a 1st round pick.

I can wait for frye and lee to get stronger, they will also be a year wiser in this league, I like what both bring to the table, as well as Jackie butler. I am not opposed to adding a Josh boone to take up the minutes of JJ and mo taylor, building a nice young core of big athletic, smart players is my goal..

Hell no to boozer and Mike James....
