Knicks playing well, hitting shots, driving, and we get no calls when marbs or francis drives especially in the last two minutes of the game they got nothing, tyson chandler was just jumping and landing on guys, no call, yet the bulls got into the penalty in the 4th after just 5 minutes and none of the fouls were on shot attempts!!!!! Pure BS.. I can see why some of the guys just give up, I am not condoning it, but I can understand...

Refs control the outcome of the game, bulls should not have even had a chance to be in the game, up 8, we had two drives where marbs was hammered, no call, yet they go down and whistle us for touch fouls. I want the refs to be held more accountable... they get away with a lot of bad shyt and it seems to be OK... bullcrap!!!

bg and hinrich deserve a lot of credit and the bulls deserved the win

they made touch plays while we fumbled and bumbled

hmm, I dont think the officiating really had a significant effect on the game, I noticed some miscalls on both sides.

Briggs: we got touch fouls all game, while in crunch time, marbs got killed going to the hoop and got squat, that is criminal to me, and it happens often in this league... can you justify, a touch foul on a pick and roll play three straight posessions yet not call all the contact steph gets?

Yep it's a conspiracy the league doesn't want a winning team in their biggest market.

old fan, clear the cobwebbs out of your head, no on is talking conspiracy, this is league wide, the NBA refs are the worst and when you are a bad team, the last thing you need is bad officiating....

funny how people laughed at Minnesote accepting Chicago deal for Garnett which included Gordon. I mean they much rather have Marbury and his $22mm contract because he is so good. I mean the guy averages 20 & 8 for his career!

PLAY THE F!CKIN GAME AND SHUTUP.

Let Larry worry about the refereeing...

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

dude, you're still not getting the point... it's about where KG wants to play, not what MIN will accept in return for him... if he doesn't want to leave MIN, they're not going to trade him... & if he asks out, CHI isn't a place where he'll want to go knowing that it'll be him & a bunch of young kids left over after they make the deal... let's not beat this into the ground... KG isn't going to CHI, you can bet on that... whether or not he comes to NY is a stretch too, but that's what Isiah's betting on... he's gambling w/multi-million dollar contracts... he better not crap out.

tkf, i also agree that the Knicks have been getting fcked up the butt on some of these calls lately... i guess that's what happens when teams are losing so consistently... it has to do w/alot of factors, including the way the players are looking to refs to make calls & giving up on plays instead of playing through it & looking to force the action in their own favor... it's gotta be frustrating for Marbs & Curry not to be getting calls, no doubt, but they have to play through it & stop whining to the refs.

I don't know if it's losing or anti-NY reffing. I remember the same thing in the 90s.

Riley's 90's teams had a reputation around the league for playing rough, & sometimes maybe dirty (John Stark's headbutts, etc.), so the refs may have been influenced by that... this current team has a reputation for being a sucky team.

TMS thanks for atleast acknowledging that, most seem to say the knicks suck so therefore the refs are fine. To me when I see steph get a call 30 feet from the basket for handchecking gordon who was not making a offensive move, and then marbs drives to the basket, gets contact and no call, to me that compromises the integrity of the game. It is a joke..

the calls against Curry have been more frustrating for me... i mean the guy can literally just breathe on a guy & he gets called for a foul on both ends of the floor... how can we expect the guy to get into any sort of rhythm on the floor if he's going to be in constant foul trouble? of course, it's not always the refs, it's Curry's blumbering footwork too, but sometimes he gets some ridiculous calls against him for real.

So regardless of the repuation of the team (or even when the two are 180 degrees apart), NYK always ends up on the bad end of the deal with the refs?

I'll add my COMPLETE support of what you're saying TKF. I've been noticing this for along time and I think a lot of it is the losing and the players we have. We have the kind of guys who people don't feel any love for. Steph NEVER gets as many calls as he deserves. I mean its unreal how often he gets mugged and there's no whistle. I think last night he just got so fed up and it blew up at the wrong time. Steph was wrong to argue the call, but I can understand it after watching him get touch fouls and no calls on his drives when he was getting hammered. I'm hoping that as this team gets better that the calls will swing our way. This year we can just forget it tho, cuz with our record no Ref is gonna give us the call unless its blatant.

no, i didn't say that... you're reading too much into it... i'm saying those 90's had a bad reputation for playing dirty... the current team has a bad reputation for being a crappy team... refs are human beings, not robots... they get influenced whether they say they are or not... that's why great players get the benefit of the calls all the time, & you see rookies, young unproven guys, & guys who have a bad reputation around the league like Rodman & Rasheed get the shaft all the time.

plain and simple, knicks coughed up the game with their poor play during the critical moments..

don't blame the refs....

You're not getting the point. I was just making the point that any team in the league would pick Gordon over Marbury. As far as where will KG wind up..who knows?
