So one vastly overpaid, underachieving, selfish PG, who will be on the downside of his career before the young players that we're allegedly building around are ready to win anything, wasn't enough so Isiah had to get another one? I can't wait to see what other moronic and senseless trade(s) Isiah makes when I get off the plane in 14 hours. Here's one guess: We're going to be taking back a lot of money for a lot of years and getting a highly questionable player with more questions than positives.

And if we don't make another move then the Bulls should start their lottery party this weekend, with this ridiculously disjointed and undersized roster of ours. I'm sorry, what's Isiah's plan again? To keep the Cablevision checks coming for as long as he can? Come on all you Isiah lovers out there, tell us how when you thought of "rebuilding" the first name you thought of was Steve Francis. And so much for Ariza being a big part of this "rebuild".

I said they needed to fire Isiah before the trade deadline before he was able to make another trade that would set this franchise back even further. Now he has and it stands to get worse in a matter of hours.

I hate to say I told you so but you know.

Isles has returned from earths core to remind us.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I never would have figured Isiah's bizzaro moves on my own.

ANd all this time I was thiking that Francis is from Baltimore, which is where Earl the pearl was traded from, and that trade too was controversial. Marbs can be like Clyde and welcome him with open arms! Lighting can strike twice!

But then Isles returns to remind us it is more important to be right and boast, then contribute a solution.

The least you can do is post absurd trade scenarios with our team fleecing the unsuspecting nitwits who think they will do that upon Isiah themselves!

how is francis going to hinder fryes development again? especially if hes starting now. it wont affect lee either, but LB just doesnt play lee. MoT and malik affect Lee, but its not like they are new acquistiions. now, if getting francis means we are hindering qrich and JC, then i am all for it.

Listen, I support these moves. The talent level here is bound to succeed. Yes, role players are needed but Crawford is not a star, right? So what is he? A role player. Same can be said about Curry. The problem with Curry is that he is not doing the role of intimidator rebounder yet.

The coach has to define the roles for the players. I am sure LB will do so. I am not sure what the problem has been this year with him, but I am confident he will turn it around.

As for the draft, NY will draft tough defensive minded players, IMO. The talent on the O is there, now they need 2 role players to complete the picture.

Next year, NY will have $25 milliion in expiring deals and two more 1st round pics on the roster along with Frye, Lee, robinson, QWoods abnd Butler to trade for a SUPERSTAR. That is what will happen.

I wish the pundits would just stop bashing them. If this team was 38-15, the stories would be how great the turnaround is and what a wonderful job IT is doing. This is all to sell papers and get ratings. They have to pick on someone.

I am thoroughly excited about the talent we have all together now. All we have to do is get a coaching style, coaching scheme, coaching plan, coaching layout, coaching pattern, coaching angle, or coaching hint......at least one of these. BUt I am excited about how flustered defenses are ultimately going to be with two guards who can penitrate as well as find the open man. This will be fun to watch! I give it 3 games.

I didn't know francis was on the downside of his career? the guy has only been in the league 6 years, there is not a lot of mileage on those legs...

Can't say I disagree with Isles at this rate. I said all along that I thought Isiah should get a chance to use the expiring deals at the deadline and he pooched it, big time.

The Jalen Rose trade, in hindsight was shortsighted. If we'd had AD's deal yesterday we could have made a legit move for Kmart or Theo/Miles and at least had a balanced roster that made some form of sense.

Now, we're left with 6 wing players who can score, kinda, but are black holes on offense, need to disrupt an offense and take horrible shots to score and don't play a lick of defense. What a joke.

i agree with defense but is our rebounding really that bad? i thought we were in the top for offensive rebounding at least a couple of weeks ago. we should have a better rebounding team than last year.

i agree, rebounding isnt the problem. its LB trying to teach defense&effort thats the problem. i would have thought i'd see progress in that by now, but the players really must be tuning him out. the only player i've seen real progress in is steph, but that was before the injury.

Francis is one of the best rebounding gaurds in the entire league and rebounding isn't even a problem with this team anyway. I have no idea where that question came from. The question about defense is legitimate, though.

are you guys watching the games? Seriously. We get scored on at will. Anytime the other team needs a bucket they get one. We have scoring runs because we have guys that can score. Last night perfect example. Lee and Frye are in. we go on a nice 10 or 12-0 run. Cut the lead to 10 or so. Then we they come right back with a run of their own against the same players. Lee and Frye work and play hard. Frye's rebounding was criticized for 4 years in school. Nobody on this team can stop anyone. Dont tell me about all the rebounds Frye has gotten in the last couple of games, I'm watching the games.

the point bonnie is that everyone harps on these trades because the talent gets upgraded, but its plain as day that the team is going south. We have a bunch of homerun hitters that dont run hard, cant play the field and strike out all the time. The point is with every move our GM futher demonstrates he has no idea how to build a team, that every offseason, draft and trading deadline whatever plan he had totally changes. On top of it these guys play so bad when they do get here that they are labeled cancer players with bad contracts that have no trade vaule, thus defeating any purpose in getting them in the first place.
