Guys,

I don't make alot of posts, but I feel like I need to say this:

I hear all this stuff about IT must go. IT is at least trying to bring in talent (and excitement). You have to give him that much. He really took on a mess when he got here. Layden brought in who? Shandon anderson, Howard Eisly, Clearence witherspoon, Antonio Mcdyess? See where I'm going here? Anyway, I thing we need to stay the course. Maybe no more big name trades. I think we need a Tough PF, who doent need the ball to be effective (K-Mart) but if Frye is as good as everybody thinks he is, we need to give him a shot. He will has to rebound and block shots cause Curry doesnt. Also, he should be the perfect match for Curry because he does not clog up the Lane. My only concern is: If we keep the 2 picks this year. We will be even younger next year, is that gonna work with LB? LB is our coach and we are gonna have to ride with him. So getting younger might hurt more than getting young (28, 29) Vets. Thoughts?????

You're right on point about Isiah. I don't think there a real need for concern about Larry and the 2 picks. How will the two picks hurt at all? If another move has to be made, we will have players with value and expiring contracts to work with.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

could we have been under the cap by now tho if we diddnt add any contracts???? if isiah just let all those deals go and diddnt add any marbury or any players like that... houstons deal is gunna be up in the 07 season which is the best free agent market in a looooong time.. bosh.. melo.. ect... that sure sounds a lot better than where we are heading

Elite,

Thats a good point but I really believe that we will never be under the cap. This is NY and the Yankees are the standard. Unfortunatly sometimes. Also, How could we be sure that anyone would sign with us. Our team was not real attractive.

Isiah acquired all the players, and hired the head coach knowing that the players he acquired weren't the veteran players the coach preferred, and the coach took the job knowing that the players weren't the veteran players he preferred, and the team has been awful.

Both Isiah and Larry should go.

Agreed, get them out of here before they trade Frye and Lee for Kmart or Odom this summer.

Agreed, but I dont think IT thought he could get LB. I think he kind of had his self in mind as far as coaching goes. I also think he saw the knicks as a Suns of the East. Getting up tempo players and LB does not play uptempo

Because when you get a chance to hire a top 5 (In history) Coach. You do it and adjust later. No Brainer!!

Also, I believe IT is getting solid players while their Value are down. IE Woods, Curry and Francis

kevlofton - nice job

Larry and Isiah at the draft, with two first-rounders, should be interesting to say the least.

All they need to be is professional

I think Jerome James is that Curry compliment that doesn't need the ball and clogs the lane. he's also the player that can take the defensive foul absorbing load off of curry...if he was on shaq, shaq would have been battered and bruised and curry would not have had 2 fouls. JMHO

rvhoss,

I think its better to have someone who does not clog the lane, so Curry can work down low. James would bump it curry all the time. But I did think about James at C and Curry at PF.

Thanx, I think you are right. But I think they will trade the Picks cause LB does not like young players.

kevlofton - think of it this way...

... Next year this time - Frye, Lee, Nate, Jackie and Qyntel will be a year older.

Isiah sucks!!!! He has no clue what a good roster consists of. I'm still waiting for a true PG, shooting guard who can actually shoot, a true center (Curry will never be the answer), and anyone who can play some sort of D.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.
