At this point I would trade Craw for anything. He looks completely lost out there. Never seen so many bad decisions. Very low IQ on the court and he is in such a slump right now I think he should sit a few games.

Craw, Ariza, Q1, JJ all need to go.

The problem is that the Knicks still wouldn't be under the cap, they have no picks or cap room, so they would have no ability to replace him.

I think Crawford for Ruben Patterson is a more realistic trade. Patterson has one extra year on his contract than Olowkandi.

Jamal Crawford is still a better player than Qyntel Woods at this point in his career... who would i rather have? it all depends on how the rest of the team is constructed... i've been saying from the beginning of the season that either Marbury or Crawford needs to be traded to create a better balance on this roster.

as for Isiah finding another young player like Woods or Dermarr Johnson w/another empty roster spot, that's a separate issue... you don't make trades based on that type of logic... you have to consider exactly what it is that you're giving up, & what it is that you're getting back... do i think the Knicks make out well on that trade you proposed? no i don't.

So you finally admit that the Crawford trade was a mistake? And that all that money for a supposed 6th man is ridiculous?

During the winning streak, you started to hear Jamal being touted as 6th Man of the Year. Now, he's relegated to addition by subtraction? Clearly, his value is somewhere inbetween. I wouldn't mind moving him, but not until he's playing a little better and we can get something back.

And Woods is better than Craw? Based on what, 5 or so pretty good games by Q. Come on! Craw avgd. 17 ppg last year, and close to that the year before. He's an established NBA talent. Q is a reclamation project who's doing well now but is far from proven.

A small mistake considering how little we gave up, but yes it would have been better to get a solid, smarter, tougher (perhaps less talented) player with the assets we used to get Jamal. You were right and Isiah and I were wrong on that trade. Congratulations...

There, now was that so hard? There might be hope for you yet. Even Bonn can't ignore the problems that are plaguing the Knicks now.

Why in the world would you trade a player whose value is at an all time low? Wait it out - cap space is not available. Let him get back to 18 and 4 as the starting shooting guard next year. Chances of getting a better player via the waiver wire are scant.
