Is anyone else troubled by the references to Marbury repeatedly calling Ms. Brown a "black bitch" to people in the organization? Not to mention the fact that Isiah allegedly tried to force her to hire two of Stephon's cousins for jobs they were completely unqualified for? It looks to me like Isiah and Stephon have some deeper ties than people realize--both have dirty hands in this lawsuit. I know these are only allegations but it really makes you wonder about whether or not these distractions have been in the background the whole time and been part of the reason for the team's demise--and don't tell me players don't talk about or pay attention to the kind of people they are working for and in this case the kind of people they are playing with.

steph is going to be subpeonad as his name is in the lawsuit. that has got to be distracting. he will have to be briefed by his lawyers, msg lawyers, and then he has to tell the truth.

if the accusations are true, then it's going to get even uglier.

But I thought Marbury was a Saint since he cried while discussing the Hurricane Katrina victims and gave the rookies new suits.

If we're going to get on Steph for having the Knicks hire his cousins, we should go straight to the top and be pissed Charles Dolan set up his stupid, fat, ignorant son James to run the Knicks.

The Knicks organization is an aristocracy (based on names of the upper class in the basketball world: Isiah, Lenny Wilkens, Pat Riley, etc), not a meritocracy (based on actual talent); they'll continue to lose until that is changed.

She may be a bitch or a ho or whatever, but you have to be smart enough not to talk about her like that around co-workers. You know how that gets back to people. Somehow all those things got back to her so you know she has somebody who will testify on her behalf. It's not like this took place in a closed door meeting with Isiah or Stephon--this was out in the open and involved multiple persons.

I don't have a problem with people helping out their family but when you're talking about certain player on a team getting undeserved preferential treatment by the boss it's gonna create some tension.
