of course... Curry has conditioning & heart issues, & Frye hasn't demonstrated yet that he can be more than a 1 dimensional type player... Dwight Howard is a young franchise superstar in the making... no way does ORL make that deal though.

funny, but i would make this deal for Dwight Howard but not for KG... i guess the age plays a factor, as well as the fact that KG's making mega dollars right now (though Dwight will be making similar dollars soon enough)

As of today, of course. I'm still optimistic that a year from now, my opinion could change.

I wouldn't go that far. But I'd start a package with Curry and add other pieces.

I wouldnt - I would do Frye and Ariza or Craw - someone younger but I would want to keep Curry.

How about Penny, Frye, Lee, Ariza, and Denver pick (from Jalen Rose trade via. Tor) for Grant Hill and Dwight Howard
Jalen Rose and Den pick and Tor 06 2nd rounder for Antonio Davis

Marbury/Crawford
Jalen Rose/Nate
Grant Hill/Woods/Q
Dwight Howard/Mo T
Curry/Butler/FatJames

I like Frye but building a frontcourt around Howard and Curry is a legit plan if your aspirations are to win a title.

Never happen but you never know. Orlando drafted Fran Vasquez. I guess impossible is nothing.

Can't imagine Orl doing ANY deal involving our players for Howard, even if we included both expiring contracts, took back all their bad contracts and offered Frye, Nate, Lee, and Ariza (and Curry if they wanted him.)

I'd have to say if there is one player who is untouchable in the NBA it is Dwight Howard.

Probably LeBron too but until he signs an extension I'm sure the Cavs would listen.

So all of our remaining assets would still be a laughable offer for just a single young stud. Looks like you don't think that much about this "nucleus" that Isiah has assembled.

No, I'm just extremely high on Dwight Howard. His offense is good and his defense is unbelievable considering his age. Lebron is probably the only player in the league I would trade him for.

he averages more rebounds that both of them put together so far this year. 12.7 to 12.6

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3818 (Howard - 12.7)
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3934 (Frye - 6.1)
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3514 (Curry - 6.5)

orlando would not even consider it--its bush legue to bring a trade like this up. Dwight Howard is considered one of the top elite new players, in the same league as Lebron and Wade. Curry who the hll knows and Frye is a jump shooting big man. Dwight Howard could very well be the next Tim Duncan which is worth more than the entire knick roster.

yes I was fully aware of that. Anyone care to bring up the point comparisons? Of course not, Curry and Frye combine for close to 30, Dwight doesn't put up half of that. I would not do it. AND all of the guys are young. Dwights points will increase, but so will Frye and Curry's. If Frye is putting up 14 and change as a rookie who hasn't figured out the NBA game, what will he put up later? What about EC? I would not do it, I think it would be foolish, especially when both are young and still have high ceilings.
crazy question but would you trade curry AND frye for dwight howard?
