the knicks gm isaih thomas is the worst you could have right now. He seems to be like the Mets old gm.
Ever since the mets got a new gm theyve made great additions such as Pedro, Delgado and the rest of the new mets. Before their new gm they had added guys like vaughn, alomar and alfonso. 2 of these guys have retired. THe knicks seem to be retiring penny, they already did retire houston and some other guys will probably be davis and jerome.

Larry brown is not ovverated. The knicks just dont have the tools to win.

minaya isnt that great of a gm if you ask me. pedro signed because of duquette, not minaya. delagdo & wagner were the only decent deals. and his deals since then have been very questionable.

Minaya isn't a great GM by any means. He signed Beltran to a preposterous long term deal, acquired an aging Pedro, and made a lot of questionable additions to draw some interest back to the Mets. More similar to Isiah than not.

Dolan ordered Isiah to ruin the franchise? how do you know that?

Dolan has made public statements about how making the playoffs is more important than winning championships. It hardly takes a leap of logic to figure out that Dolan told his GM to make quick fixes. It's not like Isiah took over a team with young players and cap room. Layden did the same thing, and so did Checketts and Grunfeld, although for a while, they had Ewing in his prime to build around.

The Rangers have been run the same way.

How can you not see that?

I dont know. anyway I dont see much hope for this franchise if that is what he will continue to do when even after he inevitably fires isiah.

I think Isiah will resign before being fired... I'd also really love to see the quote by Dolan where he said playoffs are more important than winning championships... Also, I guess Dolan really liked Jerome James.

well, you're right about that. their best chance to win is currently out with an injury.

I really don't recall him ever quoted as saying that. Do you think you could find those statements for me.

This is not baseball...U don't jsut throw a team together and have them play...players have to gel..there are no salary cap in baseball...you can trade anyone for anyone...If it was that easy Isiah would look like a stud....The team b4 Isiah got here had no future or any player you really wanted to watch play...Pleae if you could, tell me what player on that old team you wanted to see night in and night out....Now you have a young team with potential and a few exciting players..You now have a coach now considered one of the best in the NBA(I don't agee)...So how is that a bad job? Are you really being realistic is the question...

I'm talking about the team that Isiah inherited....Houston was injured eating valuable cap space..spreewell and ewing were long gone...charlie ward? really...lets think about this, a year after Isiah traded him, he was not longer a servicable player in the NBA....

I don't have Lexis Nexis, otherwise I could probably find it. I heard him say it on Mike and the Mad Dog.

Although I usually don't agree with Mitch Lawrence, he shares the belief:
