last night's game showed some heart (as did the final minutes of the minny game). we play tough and we don't quit. slight caveat is that both hard fought games were against teams in the .500 range. tonight is a team in the .700 range. different animal entirely. i'm looking forward to seeing the young guys play hard and with heart. that's all i look for. expecting a win will leave you dissapointed. just show some solid effort.

and if we do play them tough, and it comes down to the final 2-3 minutes...win or lose...there's a much BIGGER question that needs to be asked...and you know what that is

Nalod, how can you come up with all these tough talkin' threads about the Knicks winning and be one the leaders on GamePicker? You know you don't believe the hype that you feed other people--good strategy for GamePicker though.

Now you can begin to understand my tormented soul. I live in conflict each minute.

What I think will happen, and what I want to happen is two different things.

Its not really that Im good at picking, its how bad many others are!

I don't expect to be there at the top at seasons end.

My expectations for the team early on were really quite low.

I certainly think that the Knicks can win this game. Detroit is a very good team but they are beatable. If the Knicks play hard, smart and under control, they could pull an upset!! In 3 of the 5 Pistons losses, they lost by 13 or more points. Gotta have hope!!
